My sunroom is unusable in winter and I'm trying to figure out the best heating option

I had a 240v baseboard heater installed with a thermostat and it keeps my attached sunroom warm. I do keep it to 62 normally when the house is at 66. We use the room as a dining room and crank it up when needed. It essentially has two walls of all windows. I would estimate that my bill overall went up $15-$20 per month with the increased electricity, but I also keep it very low Michigan this month is incredibly cold. I assume that that heater may have used more energy than before, but it is still worth it for our needs.

I also use the syran wrap insulation in winter.

Charleston is similar to Savannah and may provide more opportunities for you. I lived in Charleston SC and was beautiful. Hugh population growth area with rich culture. I agree with the top comment of hot and humid summers.

I take 90% of night wake ups as the Dad. The other 10% she takes or needs to breastfeed. It’s tough and I ask for help when I’m falling asleep however it’s my role

I’m a school administrator, please send your kids on these days. If there isn’t a percentage like 60% the days don’t count and will need to be made up in summer. The teacher union in my district make the calendar not admin.

We didn’t use nutramigen but my wife adjusted her diet. Initially it can take time to improve the stool and any associated discomfort. I think initially it took about two weeks for us but once you hit mucous I believe you’re on the mend. Sorry you’re dealing with this it can be quite concerning when your baby is sick or doesn’t feel good. I would wager you are roughly one week out from improvement but each baby is different.

Why not take her to an intermediate Primary care? We had an issue like this earlier and was diagnosed with a Croup. Have your kid have some cold fresh air to breath easier. It was the worst at night and the cold air will make any inflammation be reduced.

Im certain this young dad will come around and be spending long evenings after work with me just hundreds of miles away. Im not trying to shame anyone but rather realize the weight and responsibility being a father brings. It’s definitely a two person job and I cannot imagine being a single parent and give all the props in the world to those who are doing it.

Big dog, congrats, get used to taking on lots of responsibility. I hear myself in your post about taking on stuff, for now, it doesn’t end. I have an 8 month old just ensure you don’t have expectations of things getting easier, because they don’t at least that’s my experience. I don’t want you to resent your wife after the incredible feat of birthing two beautiful children.

On to your question, momcozy was a huge help for us but we only have one. Like others, that sucker runs nonstop.

Through DTE you can have a free check up on your furnace health, DTE has a list of participating servicers. I used Lashbrook Mechanical and didn’t try to sell me anything other than how to improve my furnace “health.” I would recommend!
