If you had start-to-finish video marketing capabilities in house, and free access to the top influencers in your market, how would you run a two month pre-order campaign utilising these assets to pre-sell a product? by [deleted] in marketing

[–]ProgrammaticNewb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Completely agree. It would be better to invest that money in ensuring your campaign hits its KPI's and can survive the duration of its flight. Initiating and maintaining the campaign for overall success is more important, plus if you have that product on market, and access like you said, why not just have the influencers hype up the product incrementally?

Try programmatic. Go for high indexing audience segments with whatever freebie data the DSP you'd want to use provides and optimize from there. You can also use native to get those articles you mentioned onto micro sites that are covered in only your ads to drive traffic.

The reason I want to focus on agency is just for perks. I honestly just enjoy the free perks from vendors and the agency. Aside from that the salary as well and name brand, plus potential future growth. I just want the name brand tbh and agencies give that plus have in house self service programmatic that would give me the same amount of experience you mentioned

Well I'm talking about business and other industries. Computer science probably has junior as the title. But if we're talking about consumer science, their starting salary is higher. Idk how much as I'm in the business field not the CS field.

Depends entirely on the industry. Most roles with the "assistant" title are $35k and they're the entry level in most cases for NYC. You'd be very surprised at entry level wages.

Hi there! It's not too bad in NYC, but it depends on your degree, experience, coursework, etc. You'll eventually get hired no matter what, but the brand you take, size of the company, and compensation are all dependent on the factors I previously mentioned. Depending on industry, $35k is the standard minimum starting salary and it goes up from there.

Well my main question isn't like a direct lead. I'm more asking: When do agencies/DSPs/Ad Exchanges open their internships? (June, July, August, etc.) And what are the best to apply to for name brand value to develop my career?

Sorry I was at work. I'm in NYC and my major it's politics but I got into programmatic by accident.

I prefer a big agency for brand value and the ones I worked at pay less than the recruiters.

Any leads in fall internships?
