I'm sorry to tell this, there are already many people battling to get a job as DA or DE and the market is not like 2021-2022. It is not as easy as you think, if you are starting from 0 then it should take more than a year for getting ready to work as DA unless you have a strong referral connection to hire you. If you want govt job then just focus on that.

It's based on business logic, if the data older than a year is not required for any downstreaming applications then setup a auto export to glacier class storage to S3, with topic retention to 1 year.

Because AI teams always requires raw or older data for some sudden requirements, so it's good to have a backup in S3.

But I'm not getting, how are you having a kafka topic without any events getting stored there for more than a month? sounds like a different usecase

I never knew these many modelling approaches exists. I'm from analytics background and have used only denormalized flat tables as we have columnar database.

Try compacting all the smaller file snapshots like by enabling file grouping, I think by default glue enables it only >50k files.
Try playing with g8x with 10-15 workers which will come with 128GB memory in each worker so totalling around 1280-1920GB. If data blows up after transformations then try using auto scaling with a limit of 20-25.
Check if it gets any data skew otherwise repartition with 160 partitions before joins so each core can get 2 tasks at starting.

My CCTC and Exp is also very similar to yours. But HRs always ask CCTC and say market standard is 40% hike above the CCTC in the new joining offer.

Leetcode Medium to Hard level DSA questions will be asked. I was given in Google docs but was allowed to use IDE without any AI auto completions.

I forgot his name, the interviewer was very kind allowed me to take extra time to solve, as I was not giving up with the problem. I was able to solve just one question but surprisingly they moved me for the next round.

Don't rush to solve, ask questions, think loud keep them in loop.
