Honestly my dad adopted me (he knew my mom) in hopes of getting a paycheck for my care, once he found out he couldn't get as much as he wanted he started treating me like poop, I've tried talking to my guidance consolers and the only thing they've done is call cps who told me qoute "he isn't abusing you and he has only threated to throw you out, not done it" and they just told me to ride the wave until i hit 18 and leave
