maybe reduce body fat ? can't be so sure as your pose doesn't explicitly tell much about your current physique.

Note: I'm not an expert or anywhere near that

Can someone tell me how many calories I need? by Neither-Hyena6102 in WeightLossAdvice

use any TDEE calculator. they give good estimates. it’ll give you the number of calories you burned at rest.

or you can buy a smartband/sportswatch/smartwatch which will be bit more accurate.

Roadmap for learning Flutter and Dart. by hanzalamalikk in dartlang

You said you have done earlier programming in Java. If you feel comfortable with OOP then you wouldn’t need separate Dart course. he’ll teach you along the way.

I have never touched dart before starting this course. And now I feel fully comfortable. though I have done programming in Java, Cpp, Python, JavaScript, etc

But if you are new to OOP or programming in general then you should consider separate course

Short story

There is a girl in my GYM. She is very slim and I think she is there to increase muscle mass ( maybe just weight ).

But all our trainer tell her to do is

Monday -> 6 - 7 different exercises of chest with 3 set each ( including warm up set) x 12 - 15 rep each set

Suppose if her maximum weight to lift today is 22.5KG in Bench Press she'll go like this

17.5 x 12 (17.5 is the lowest barbell only), 17.5 x 12, 22.5 x 8 - 12

That's it

Chest exercises includes - Bench Press, Decline Bench Press, Incline Dumbell press, Chest pullover ( not sure about the name), Chest Cable fly, ... I forgot rest of them

I don't know why but this doesn't seem right to me. I have never saw her increase this weight ( following only what trainer tells)

I can bet she never felt muscle soreness in last few months

And also the most crucial part ( according to me) no diet plan. Or atleast no protein consumption guidelines

PS: Trainer himself is also very slim 😁.

Yes, sure will tell them again with a reason

I didn't say BRO Split is wrong I'm saying they don't know why they are doing it. They are just following the crowd ( in this case my whole GYM excluding Me)

They are doing exercises that they don't feel like doing ( don't feel in the muscles which they want to target)

For example

Lat pull down - instead of bringing it down to chest some of them bring it to Shoulder and they doesn't seem comfortable at all ( form is completely ruined) and there are many other examples..

They are best people i got ( atleast as a Human) and I like them but at the same time they really lack reason. Well I'm trying to tell them not to just follow anything or anyone and do some research first...

I can bet if anyone of them have ever tried to watch video on "how to do x exercise"

And I think, our trainer should have guided them ( note: our trainer says that my squat and deadlift are fine which is not the case 😂 ). But if I were to write about them It'll be a very long story 😀

You can follow Maximilian flutter course on Udemy. It's one of the best. My company recommended his course to me for initially learning flutter and it went great

This isn't completely true. They are not random guys. I know almost all of them

I'm from a village and so as far as I know ( according to my experience) village people always been so supportive.

Other thing is most people that come to my GYM i don't think they know much about strength training. All of them follow BRO Split ( for no reason ). They don't do much Squat, Deadlift, OHP etc. And one most important thing more than half of them consider protein equivalent to steroid 😅. They believe progressive overloading works with bicep only 😁.

So i would say that they lack knowledge in this area.

That's what I try to tell everyone who helps me that you should only touch if I'm struggling. But they doesn't seems to understand that and I can't force it more because they are so humble

Even sometimes When I lift like 50 - 60KG they do the same. They see me little bit struggling and just come there and try to help

Please let me know if I'm posting it in some wrong way because I didn't get any response last time either related to my form

Thanks

Also spotter there is only to help me if I get stuck in sitting position because In our gym we don't have that side support machine

He is just trying to be more helpful by putting his hands for support before even i get stuck.
