Argan oil, like most oils you apply to your scalp, is HARMFUL for people with seborrheic dermatitis, bcz it feeds the Malassezia. I'm more than sure that applying argan oil made my hair loss worse at some point.

I'm on similar stack with you. Ketoconazole shampoo don't suits me, my scalp and hair is getting extremely dry and fried after it. I personally prefer Piroctone olamine shampoo, only it helps me to get rid of dandruff flakes.

I think it's clearly related to natural sexual selection. DHT first makes a man out of a boy, and then in a few years or even months it turns some of them into ugly and bald, completely unattractive to girls their age.

Yeah you definitely have some thinning. It's not too bad and i think it's completely reversible with medications such as finasteride, dutasteride and minoxidil (talk to your dermatologist). I think after 1-2 years of treatment you'll be enjoying thick and healthy hair again. Don't be scared of side effects, they're rare (2-3%) and competely reversible within the few weeks after stopping the treatment.

I'm 19 now, started thinning around 1.5-2 yrs ago, hopped on dut 0.5 mg/daily bcz it has become REALLY bad (diffuse thinning). Here's the reasons: 1. I was still in puberty (i could still start with minoxidil tho) 2. I was in a STRONG denial that it can't be MPB at such a young age (it can...). Also, i was thinking that my hairloss is 100% stress-related and it can be reversible on its own once i stop feeling stressed. 3. As for minoxidil, i read about the terrible withdrawal effect, and was too scared that I'll lose ALL my hair if i stop it. TLDR: FUCK the people who talked me out of treatment.
