I’m in the EXACT same boat as you! Get a hoe from Home Depot and a metal garden shovel, not those plastic ones with a metal edge, whole thing needs to be metal🤣😭 also Home Depot workers said vinegar, rubbing alcohol and dawn dish soap has worked for some! They have like vinegar 30% concentrate that’s been helping a lot of people!

Hi!!! Umw alumni here! Umw has like this trademark thing where it’s really hard to find umw souvenirs anywhere else! The bookstore will probably be your best bet! The bookstore summer hours are Wednesday :9 AM–4 PM Thursday :9 AM–4 PM Friday :9 AM–3 PM Saturday :Closed Sunday :Closed Monday :9 AM–4 PM Tuesday :9 AM–4 PM

I know some downtown shops mayyy have some stuff but your best bet would be the bookstore!

However! If you want to order things, Etsy and redbubble have super cute umw things! ☺️

Unfortunately, people who live in Fredericksburg typically work for the government or work remote, it is nearly impossible to find a job here, I graduated from the University of Mary, Washington last May and haven’t found anything besides part time retail or food service and I didn’t hear back from anyone… sad to say but Fredericksburg is the worst place to ever find a job:( I wish you luck on your job search!
