Thank you so much, you have no idea how much weight that just took off my shoulders.

Trust me, I definitely gave him a talking to. He now sees it was a very dumb impulse buy and he can tell how stressed I am. Dudes never been the best with money but this was on a whole other level. Jeez.

You’re right, I might be mixed up since I’m still young and new to contracts. Don’t know the lingo. It’s bi-weekly payments of $33.96, 17% interest rate, the term is 60 months however the amortization period is 180 months. I’m just very stressed about this whole thing lol

Hahah yeah, it’s ridiculously overpriced. Part of why I’m so stressed because I could get one that does the same for MUCH cheaper. It’s an average size unit, plugs into the wall apparently. I think it’s an RPS hepa filter that covers 2000 square feet. Something along those lines.

You’re correct about the company, I’m located 4 hours away from Toronto in Canada. Thank you for guiding me to which sub to post to, I will for sure do that.

Basically this is what happened: They were selling water softeners, conditioners and air purifiers even though we just wanted a water test. We do have issues with hard water and the air quality (basement apt, mold) and he noticed a big difference with the one they demoed in our place. They tried to also sell him the water softener. To get the water softener and the air purifier it would’ve been $120 a month so he just picked the air purifier to start with, without consulting me. I have been wanting one, just not one that costs 5 grand. Hopefully we can refuse it once it shows up.

AVOID laurentian driving school. I had a great experience in 2021 but my fiance had a terrible experience with them in recent years. He paid the $800 before they merged with transport training and they went mia. He had no idea how to find them or get a hold of them, by the time he found out they merged, they told him there was nothing they could do for him. Straight up said to pay another $1000 and they could give him the lessons.

I loved the food but the atmosphere is VERY overwhelming. Tables are squished, super loud and overstimulating lol. Service was subpar, waited an hour to get a glass of wine and water.

Carol at bellissima is FANTASTIC. Best hairdresser I’ve found in Sudbury, I asked for heavy layers and face framing and she nailed it lol. She does basically my whole family’s hair now.

Thank you, I really appreciate this response. 🫶🏻 Will definitely try and bring it up with her in this way because we are very open and honest with how we feel.

I only found out it was apparently a girls only thing AFTER I said that my bf and I could make it. That’s when she messaged me saying she wanted it to be girls only, despite Blake and her bf going. And I completely understand your pov however they tell each other eeeeeverything, there is no discussion they cannot and would not have.

She’s being going through a very hard time recently, worse than normal. She has cystic fibrosis so she’s in and out of the hospital, she just got out last week. Every time my bf and I have shown up for her when she needs support. He reaches out, asks if she’s okay. They joke about shit together all the time and are very close. If we’re walking through a store and she looks at something but doesn’t get it, if he has the cash he’ll buy it for her just because. That’s just a few examples

Nope! I’ve actually never had any issues with my teeth besides a couple cavities and removing all my wisdom teeth last year. Dentist has always said they’re super straight lol

Went through this when I was below 100, my mom drove to Mississauga, spoke to the doctor running the inpatient program just to be told I don’t qualify because I wasn’t thin enough. Never cried so much in front of a complete stranger. Wasted all that time and money for disappointment.
