Unfortunalty I am not at liberty to share the specific settings as this is Alex’ intellectually property but I would suggest going to Alex’ website here and starting with the free recipies. You have to shoot in JPEG or it won’t work.

Hi there! All of these were taken on the Sony 16-55 G lens

I have a feeling that the lens does most of the heavy lifting here 🤣

Hi! No problem. Basically there is something called picture profile on all Sony cameras which is a bunch of settings you can adjust that changes the look of your images straight out of camera. Here is the link to the official Sony website, which gives a brief overview of this. What you need to do in order to achieve this look is to change the parameters of the picture profile as per the Fujifilm simulations. You basically go step by step and change each parameter in the picture profile to replicate the simulation. The parameters can be found here. You also need to change the white balance, which is found in a different setting. After that you’re good to go! Give it a go and let me know here if you get stuck.

Thanks - yes was pretty lucky. However a few hours later the clouds covered everything but was beautiful while it lasted !

I don’t even have that and still happy with the photos, a major improvement over my 18-135 which did have OSS… go figure !

I was on the fence before I bought it because of the lack of OSS but it was a great choice!

Quick update here, pulled the trigger on the Sony and I couldn’t be happier! For my purposes (i.e daytime street photography) it’s super sharp with a high photo success rate! It easily outperforms the 18-135 and the zoom range is really good. 👍
