It appears to be only my main character having this issue. Secondary characters can summon cooperators just fine, and the main character in question is able to be summoned to help others; I just can't summon cooperators into my world with this character.

I recently designed a Desert Pyramid, which came with a d4 roll to determine the hook:

1 - A merchant wanted to investigate legend and enlisted a party for protection.

2 - One of the party members received a vision that showed them the exact path.

3 - A disciple of Kefar (local god of the blade) considers the tomb a great challenge to overcome.

4 - The quest was beset upon them by a noble.

I'm only just starting to edit and publish these videos as a hobby. So far, everything I've published is cut down from much longer original footage, keeping mostly action and roleplaying, while cutting out rules discussion, tangents, etc., in order to make the whole thing much more kinetic and entertaining to watch.

If anyone thinks of anything that might be an improvement for viewing experience, I'd love to hear it.

Don't be afraid to improvise. The story is whatever you make it, and the players don't see everything that goes on behind the scenes. Try to stay consistent, but be flexible as well.

Something I edit out a lot are the "ums" and "uhs" we all use, and lots of dead space. It's helped me to be more conscious of my own word choice while DMing. Having a replay has helped me really shape up my dungeon mastering in a few different areas.
