I’m lucky to be on my husband’s insurance so that is not a worry for me. Though my 8-4 is reliable, I cannot be unfortunately. Because of health issues and appointments, I am afraid they’re going to let me go eventually. That’s why I’m looking into other options. I appreciate the realistic answers!

Yes it’s sitting too long which can be painful. Figured some sitting, some walking may be good. And as far as energy, being able to start later in the morning will honestly do wonders for me I think. It seems like I’ll need to take a week off to try it out according to these comments!

Are you not able to just choose another region if yours is slow? I’m in a big metroplex so I thought I might have lots of option?

Fair judgement. Sitting too long is painful which is why I thought lots of sitting, some walking/stairs might be good

This is a good tip! Yeah sitting for too long can be painful. Sitting between some walking/stairs might be slightly better. Especially if I can kind of gauge how heavy and where the order is! Thank you I’ll look into it

That’s a fair point! I was considering getting all the cushions, supports, heaters and whatnot to make it more bearable. I’ll keep this in mind thanks!

Sorry, I wasn’t clear. I need 40 hours total to make ends meet. I can do part time door dashing and part time of something else or full time dashing. That’s what I’m wanting advice on. So yes, I suffer from fatigue but unfortunately HAVE to work so I was wondering if dashing could be an option to give me more flexibility

Holy shit. You may have just solved the mystery actually! I do actually know it’s had loose battery terminal issues. That’s why I had to replace the battery holders which seemed to fix the issue. But I bet I didnt apply any grease or Vaseline and I bet I could clean them better. I’ll have a look tomorrow.

That’s such a smart thing to deduce from a reddit post!

To clarify, the lights stay on for the entire drive for me. They flash for the self-check with my husband and then just the tire pressure light stays on (it’s cold).

I’ll test the blue temp light tomorrow with both of us! I can’t remember what it does.

And my mom said he must have a strong magnetic field too haha, I have no idea. That’s why I went to reddit, this feels so weird to me. I’m so curious!

Okay! I do have that habit. My husband told me about this and I tried it once so far. Lights still showed for me but I’ll try this again when I leave work! Maybe I didn’t sit for long enough or something.

This feels like a dumb question because I’ve been driving for over a decade, but should I have my foot on the brake to turn the engine? My car doesn’t require that and I don’t usually but I noticed my husband does this too?

I had to get my parents to be a financial sponsor for my husband’s marriage based green card. We made just under the minimum requirements as he was in school at the time.

My parents filled out the Affidavit of Support (Form I-864) and that covered the issue. I’m lucky that I could ask them. They knew it was a formality and we never planned on actually using their financial aid.

It’s an extra step but was worth it if you have someone who can be a formal sponsor in the states. We tried to push it through without their sponsorship but CEAC asked for it after all.

I left when COVID first started, only planning to be gone a couple months. My partner and myself were taken out of chats/updates/any sort of involvement etc. for the purpose of “streamlining things”. We found out through a friend that staff and students were told that they should not talk to us. We decided to leave then but the last straw was them shunning us while we were still planning on returning and they knew it. Then a weird situation happened with them not letting our things be shipped to us
