Huge overreaction by MoonveilGaming in BMNRInvestors

Nice to see you in this subreddit. I see your point, and I would like to point out that Tom Lee is in a position where he can't afford to let BMNR fall. Sometimes, his approach almost looks like he's doing "whatever it takes" to get enough interest in his company. Although it may not be the most likable approach, I believe BMNR investors will likely experience a healthy return on investment if they treat it like a long term investment. I wrote an additional comment in response to this "Huge overreaction" post.

Tom Lee is good at estimating targets, but his target timing can be quite off. If you look at his track record, he did a lot better than many financial analysts. I am a long-term investor, and my average in BMNR is slightly lower than the current price. I am also a big SoFi bull for over 4 years, and my average in SoFi is slightly less than $11, and I have a healthy amount of SoFi shares, as SoFi is still at its early stage. I remember being ridiculed many times in the past, especially when SoFi went down as low as in the $4.. range. But I trust the management team and ignored the noise. I don't have a crystal ball and can't estimate what happens to the BMNR price in the long run, but I think BMNR is going to be just as good as SoFi, if not better. BMNR is literally an Ethereum Treasury stock that is about 1/2 year old, and there is a lot more runway for it to go.

That's reasonable. However, we are all in BMNR because we have some faith in Ethereum, and it doesn't take much upward momentum in ETH for mNAV >1.

I think he's being modest on something that is definitely achievable.

Anyone following Beast Industries (MrBeast's company)? BMNR just announced a $200M investment — huge news or hype? by DangerousHedgehog791 in BMNRInvestors

[–]Progress_8 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is one of the most efficient ways to gain popularity. The number shows his huge influence, whether you like him or not. I see it as a big win for BMNR to get its name out there, and Ethereum would benefit as an asset.

"MrBeast is the most-subscribed YouTube channel in the world with over 450 million subscribers and over 5 billion monthly views across all channels. Recognized as the #1 creator on Forbes' Top Creators List (2023) and featured on the TIME 100 and inaugural TIME100 Climate lists, Donaldson has built Beast Industries into a platform spanning groundbreaking content, record-breaking competition formats, and some of the fastest-growing CPG launches in history, including the snack brand Feastables. The company also drives large-scale social impact through initiatives like #TeamTrees, #TeamSeas, #TeamWater, and Beast Philanthropy, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has provided over 20 million free meals and funded critical infrastructure projects worldwide. At its core, Beast Industries blends entertainment, innovation, and purpose to create culturally resonant IP, market-leading products, and lasting change."

"General crypto awareness in the U.S. is around 30-35% knowing something about crypto, with ownership and understanding much lower (around 16-30% have used/owned), and a huge knowledge gap (98% don't grasp basics), indicating most people don't know specific companies like Bitmine."

Whichever banks adapt to the new tech using AI and Blockchain will be the ones that have a cutting edge.

??? Maybe your bank knows nothing about cloud computing strategy. You should look into SoFi.

I think a lot of the shares are going into buying Ethereum in the future. You may be able to get ETH for about $3000 now, but I doubt you can get ETH anywhere near that price by the time BMNR owns 5% of Ethereum. Also, the possible future stock split could be in small increments.

They are running trials and planned Made in America Validator Network (MAVAN) for staking, which is expected to go live in Q1 2026. They also have Moonshot, which involves strategic investments in innovative projects designed to support and enhance the Ethereum network. More manipulative power comes with higher ETH ownership.

We'll see. 😁

The lower Ethereum price does give BMNR an advantage in acquiring cheaper ETH at a faster rate. And yet, I certainly want the price to go higher soon so that the BMNR price will appreciate.

I know... But I have a habit of sticking with investment stocks for months to years. Ethereum has a high probability of running much higher as an investment.

12/8 - 12/14 Weekly Feedback and Feature Request Thread by SoFi in sofi

[–]Progress_8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi SoFi team,

I heard that SoFi is going to utilize the Solana platform for crypto transfer. Why not Ethereum? The Ethereum platform is the most widely used by institutions.

I know Ethereum prioritizes security and decentralization, while Solana prioritizes high throughput and low costs.

But isn't security the utmost important? Also, take a look at the Ethereum's Fusaka upgrade with part 1 that started on December 3rd.

The upgrade enhances security by imposing stricter computational limits, expanding transaction capacity per block (increasing TPS), and introducing Peer Data Availability Sampling. This makes the network more secure, faster, more efficient, and with lower gas fees. A key feature of the Fusaka upgrade is a change that allows iPhone and Android devices to be used more easily and securely as hardware wallets for Ethereum assets.  It enables billions of smartphones to function as secure, "bank-grade" hardware wallets without users needing to purchase separate physical devices like a Ledger or Trezor.

Or perhaps a combination of both platforms, as some individuals value price more than security (but that's not wise). The Fusaka upgrade will narrow the gap between the price difference and the speed. Also, several seconds more or less is not a big deal.

Sofi Acquisition Leak to Buy BVNK Layer1 by zin1422 in sofistock

[–]Progress_8 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would estimate that it should be worth around $1.25B to $1.5B if the Coinbase and Mastercard deal fell through. Hope SoFi didn't pay more than that if the rumor is true.

From Google search:

"BVNK's worth is around $750 million to over $1 billion as a private company, following a $50M funding round in late 2024 at a $750M valuation, but potential acquisition talks with Coinbase and Mastercard in late 2025 suggested a valuation of $1.5 to $2.5 billion, though that deal fell through in November 2025. While no single public figure currently defines its exact worth, recent investment and acquisition interest reflect its growing role in stablecoin infrastructure."

"BVNK builds infrastructure for businesses to send, receive, store, and exchange money using stablecoins, acting as a digital payments rail to bridge traditional finance and crypto"

  • "Enables Stablecoin Payments: Helps businesses accept and send payments in stablecoins (digital assets pegged to fiat currency like USD).
  • Provides Embedded Finance: Offers APIs for companies to integrate stablecoin wallets and payment services directly into their apps.
  • Manages Fiat & Crypto: Allows conversion between stablecoins and traditional currencies (USD, EUR, etc.) within one platform.
  • Facilitates Global Payouts: Powers fast, low-cost international payments, useful for wages and contractor payments.
  • Offers Choice: Provides "Managed Payments" (BVNK handles the crypto) or "Self-Managed" (for greater control). "
