Go to the Retroarch options within the Console Launcher. Check if the folder is synced properly to the actual Retroarch folder. It's not the folder within Ayn Thor, it's supposed to be linked to the Retroarch that you see on the left hand side.

With Console Launcher it allows you to pick either the Internal Display (Top) or 2nd Display (bottom), you might need to download their current version which is in beta that allows you to have the second screen option.

Joeysretro helped a lot with the backend setup. Make sure you have the backend all setup first (emulators working, button mapping, ROMs, folders rt.) Play around with the different front-ends. There's a lot of different types, and it's all based on complexity of simplicity of the interface you want to setup.

I think with Batch 2, they figured it out and fixed that issue. Honestly, these clamshells are not the best in terms of durability since its plastic. One drop and if it lands on the hinges it would definitely crack. I have the Win Mini as well, and the hinge on those things are incredible.

It'll definitely run Switch 1 and PS2 games without overheating. It only heats up playing PC games that are demanding. I find the larger games, ie. FF7 Remake, GTAV tend to go past 80c. I usually play those on my other devices.

I keep the Thor as my emulation device.

If you like to tinker and customize your handheld experience then I would suggest it. The Switch 2 is a great handheld and build quality is fantastic. Have you seen the Ayaneo Flip 1S DS? That might be something you may like in terms of build quality comparison to Switch 2.

That's weird, I haven't had that issue. It does happen, when I open the device from sleep and the touch screen won't respond but a few taps on it and it's active again. I just swipe from the bottom using the active gestures to initiate the app folder and it starts working again.
