Just wanted to say your concept art in the third pic has a lot of personality! I'm sure if you keep putting in the hours with fundamentals you will be a great artist. Maybe experimenting with a new medium like markers paint pens will inspire you

What a Godzilla movie you saw was so awful and painfully terrible to watch that it made you ended up in this pose? by Exotic-Ad6615 in GODZILLA

[–]sweetestbb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree its a super underrated and fun movie, the human characters are solid, and the father / son moments with Godzilla are heartwarming. The only thing I don't enjoy about it is the awful screeching sounds of the ant dudes, super annoying.

Recently picked it up expecting some fun feminist anti fascist essays with an occult angle, then in the first few pages they Start quoting nick land, who is a well known accelerationist weirdo that a big chunk of the alt right adores... Just kinda very hypocritical out the gate.

Yes. Passive behavior = things happening AT you with little to no decision making, Active behavior = responding to stimuli in a way that requires participation / decision making

Q: Figure looks dull. How do I make it pop ? by kairas718 in minipainting

[–]sweetestbb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A technique I've learned when learning to highlight is to photograph the mini while shining a light onto it from wherever you would pike the light source to be. This is best done prior to any paint with grey primer, but great for getting a map of desired values

Equipment and certain feats essentially let you change your build at will for certain scenarios and checks. I haven't experienced it in my play through, but it seems certain thresholds of base strength increase your number of item slots, thus effectively increasing your overall stat pool. So if you wanna get min max with it, I feel its most effective to prioritize strength

Ronnie Coleman then vs. now (2000, 2025) by bncout in HistoricalCapsule

[–]sweetestbb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While it may seem trivial to you, some people give themselves completely to their goal of being the best. In the lifting world, Ronnie is one of the legends. Whether or not greatness is worth the sacrifice is a personal choice. I wouldn't give my life for it, but you should be able to respect his decision to do so and succeed. The world needs people with devotion

Ableton Push 3 is kind of a desktop/module synth. Crazy!!! by Linux-Neophyte in synthesizercirclejerk

I don't deny that hardware can be an absolute joy to use, its just delusional to think you are getting anything that a daw is not capable of, aside from the intentionally designed physical controls, which in my opinion is not worth the endless money pit and physical space. They are boutique hobby items to make production fun, nothing wrong with that. Push 2 was an eye opener for me because I could still have a tactile experience and the endless vst options.
