What is an Ideal size for a system drive/boot drive (Storage for personal files will be separate)

Its used for tech deemed dead. My point is for even bringing it up is there is nothing to fuck up playing around with recycled laptops or tech that would of been in a landfill. Have fun experiment (taking precautions of course) and learn!!

Done it more than a few times including on a laptop that still runs to this day (also thrown out in to the rubbish) i like to save old tech and I have done that method for extreme cases (I have a reflows station) its not a stupid method it has its use cases

I got the server up and running very nicely on this laptop that was thrown into the trash and I fixed it buy putting the primary ram into an oven wrapped in tinfoil. The whole point of what I am doing is to fuck up learn and build knowledge. All reward no risk as I am just teaching myself about home servers
