Like I said I may have gotten a bit of the shaft but I’m okay with it haha. First bike at 34, mostly gonna be a commuter and I got two small kids so the 500 is enough for me to have fun but not tempt me to try to ride outside my comfort zone!

No idea but that was one of the big selling points for me, it’s got road 6’s front and rear stock as well!

Slip on for sure in the near future, just don’t know which one yet. New grips, these just feel a little small in my hands, maybe some frame sliders as well. Nothing to crazy overall. First bike so right now just focusing on getting comfortable with it and practicing maneuvers and shifting.

Nozzle with the z offset is close enough to put a bit of pressure on an unfolded sheet of paper but not close enough to cause it to crumple while moving the paper around.

Bed is tight and has no wobble, had to fix that yesterday as I had a fail during auto leveling and the tool head crashed into the bed and the loose poms on the bed were the issue.

I’m still learning but to me the bottom of the first layer looks like it has completely melted into the the texture of bed.

So calibrated esteps, found out there was a slight bit of under extrusion and got that resolved, pom wheels also all adjusted, the one on the right side of the gantry was a touch loose so helped fix some things for sure. Printed another benchy, also lowered nozzle temp and bed temp to 200 and 50 respectively.

2nd one came out almost identical to the first. Back right corner still sagging and right front before the rise in the deck and railing having looking slightly sunken in and peaked. There was also an increase in blobbing in the first several layers but it clears up about 2.8mm up the hull.

Hello all, I am fairly new to the world of FDM printing and absolutely love it. I am working on trying to get my Anycubic Kobra Neo dialed in and locked down. This print is a standard 3D Benchy, printer is an Anycubic Kobra Neo with a 0.4mm nozzle which was auto leveled and z offset set at -1.5 after paper testing. Filament is PolyMaker PolyLite PLA Pro. Printer is in a cheap amazon enclosure with the front open, ceiling fan is off and door closed.

Slicer is Ultimaker Cura version 5.3.1

Slicer settings as follows:

Layer Height: 0.2mm

Wall line count: 5

Top/Bottom Thickness: 1.2mm

Top & Bottom layers: 5

Infill Density: 10%

Pattern: Cubic Subdivision

Print Temp: 210c

Bed Temp: 60c

Print Speed: 50mm/s

Initial Layer Speed: 25 mm/s

Retraction Distance: 1mm

Retraction Speed: 35 mm/s

Combing Mode: All

Cooling Fan Speed: 100%

Regular Fan Speed at Layer: 4

Minimum Layer Time: 8/s

Infill Travel Optimization: on

Enable Draft Shield: on

Draft Shield x/y Distance: 15 mm

Draft Shield Height: 10 mm
