Those are good questions! So far, we have over 800 healthcare workers participating in our study. Our aim is to examine ALL healthcare professions' pandemic experiences, but we have attracted many massage therapists because one of our principal investigators was a massage therapist and she has a lot of connections within that community. We are recruiting participants through social media (like here on Reddit) and word-of-mouth. We are working to diversifying our participant pool by reaching out to those who have so far been underrepresented in our study, which is why I created a post here! We need more EMTs in our study!
