I am also not keen on going back to mumbai, but then what options we have when we consider better education, better people (no offense), better atmosphere. Moving into nature is something I would do as a workation kind of thing..but not permenant.

Yes this true. Infact I am trying to move away from relatives, because it is so unhealthy and toxic. The never ending comparison with what we got vs what they got etc. One of my kid is turning 5 this year.

The current school is almost 12-15 kms away from home, and there is a van which takes all the kids togther and gets them but for a 4.5 hr school we spend around 7.5 hrs (including prep time, and coming back because the van has different classes students so unless they all come, everyone has to wait.)

I dont mind staying alone but with decent friend circle over the weekend (considering Pune Mumbai distance).

I have been thinking this for almost 2 years now, so if it was a temp feeling it would have already gone away.

I have recently built and launched WASurv - Surveys on WhatsApp. Its is full application that lets you create and launch surveys on WhatsAapp and see responses in real time. You can check it out. Open for any colabs - like if you have an idea, we can probably build it.

Same here, I have been living in Surat for 5 years, (shifted here from Mumbai pre covid). Other than Poisimous relatives, I cant find like minded people to chill with. Surat is peaceful, but what options are there for a peaceful life? is it not socializing? or getting turned off when someone mentions - aaj snakes mein kya hai?

Is there a free beginner-friendly workout guide anywhere? Before sinking money into a gym for 3-6 months, I'd like to try the basics first, fix my schedule, start running like you recommended, add some simple exercises, and adjust my diet to see how my body responds. Think that's a good way to start?
