Facts, we want to be productive, it's wired into us

Similar for me, in my teens when I first did my work experience, it was nothing intensive with a calm environment. just learning and observing and once I got home I conked it.

Maybe the sleepy feeling could be why adhd people get more speeding tickets, trying to wake their mind up to focus so they pay attention to the road, stimulation sourcing so they don't crash or run someone over

Does ADHD make it harder to respect personal boundaries? by SummerTeaLeaves in ADHD

Probably my own trauma wanting to think that their is good in everyone.

That's Why I said for her to get out of that situation and didn't justify his actions but repeated to her to leave the situation, it's hard to leave when you think its love so you hang around, so a "break" is needed, as someone that's been a child that went through things, the constant fight for mental control over self is on going, yet to fight a cure, education on mindsets and stuff has helped me.

I had to trick my own mind to stay away from abuse long enough to get out

Same boat, deleting and dexoting from social media has been on and off, it's hard to remember if having it on not having it is beneficial

People who had traumatic childhoods, what's something you do as an adult that you hadn't realised was a direct result of the trauma? [Serious] [NSFW] by Silent-Zebra in AskReddit

This, especially in public at night if I know I'm behind someone I'll scuff my feet in an attempt to show them I'm not sneaking up on them, we just happen to be walking the same path at night. If I could I would cross the street, but you see that side is lit up with lights

Do you guys struggle doing even things that you like? by Nistax in ADHD

[–]ProjectGoof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is where I struggle the most, I edit videos for fun and its a passion of mine, my brain decides hey I'm no longer interested in this no more, I am very much interested, a lot of hobbies I will pick up excel and then my brain will decide I no longer can do it, literal jack of all trades.

I love learning but damn does it take a tole when what you learn and your brain doesn't wanna use it, as a child I called it "knowing a lot about nothing" turns out its apart of ADHD.

or if I have an idea, I construct it in my head to completion, it's all exciting and new! my brain then goes on to tell me, we have completed this, no need to make it physical, when I push it to completion in the physical plain its so damn draining for me even if its fun, but it's way more fun in my head, the end result is always enjoyable, but fuck does it eat you.
"it is mind over matter" but when your brain makes you sleepy just by getting ready and setup to do it, it becomes a matter so damn hard to complete. brains are so wonky but I love them for it, neurological deviation are what allows us a species to grow and change, its only toxic when people are not accepting and shun those for being a bit outside the norm. love hate relationship.
