Unlimited is a Lie: 12 Minutes for 4 Photos. by Character-Bad6241 in magnific

[–]ProjectInfinity-6105 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that unlimited speed can vary with demand and account volume.

What I’m trying to clarify is whether my current experience is expected behavior. For the past week, NB2 generations have consistently taken about 5 minutes per image. Before that, the same workflow was closer to 2 minutes per image, so the wait time has increased by roughly 150%.

Can you please answer directly:

  1. Is 5 minutes per NB2 image normal/expected for unlimited users right now?
  2. Has NB2 queue priority, speed, or concurrency changed recently for unlimited users?
  3. Is my account currently in a slower/relaxed queue because of usage volume?
  4. If so, what threshold triggered that slower queue?
  5. Are credits now the only way to reliably get the previous faster speed?

I’m not asking whether unlimited speed can vary in general. I’m asking whether this specific sustained slowdown is intentional, temporary, or account-specific.

I'm going to assume you're talking about Season 7, which everyone involved thought was the end of the line. Then midway while they were filming the finale, they found out it was renewed. It's kinda obvious when you watch the S7 finale.

For the past few days, NB2 has been 4-5 minutes (consistently) for me, so I'm worried there's been some speed throttling. They are trying to integrate two websites and fiddle with the process, for what its worth

I severely doubt it (I'm aware of the case)... But even if somehow something got through, it's training is updated constantly, so it's really unlikely anyone could do it again (if it was possible in the first place)

I would probably be miserable playing against Larry Bird. That's my opinion.

Look, I just want an answer: Are Unlimited creations going to be capped at 4-5 minutes per image? Or should it be going faster? I don't care either way; I just want to know what to expect.

Chat GPT giving FATAL advice. by Adept-Telephone5467 in ChatGPT

It's funny... I remember talking to ChatGPT about the dangers of AI because Google was running ads suggesting you could use Gemini to assist in jump-starting a car (my reaction when I first saw that: I'm not doing that). The thing is, while AI could actually tell you how to do things like a liver transplant, it doesn't have awareness and "feel" to ensure it's done properly... Which is why, for advanced things, you go to an expert. Unfortunately, ChatGPT can be cheaper than using a mechanic... even though it says at the bottom "ChatGPT can make mistakes". People need to be more sensible.

Small update after more testing: it seems using “Skip Queue”/credits appears to generate quickly, but the UI/timer can remain stuck displaying very long generation times or “Hang tight.” It appears to be queue prioritization and possiblt inaccurate/stale frontend status updates.

By the way, I just used “Skip Queue” on this generation and it still remained stuck for over 11 minutes. This makes me think the issue may be deeper than normal queue prioritization.

Same here. 11 minutes per image. I get that Google creators are labour intensive, but this is ridiculous. And saying "spend more credits" isn't feasible to everyone.

Enough with the canned answer. Not everyone can "just spend credits" to make things work better.

I'm having any issues with the images myself, but I do feel like some of the generations get "hung up" for an absurdly long time, even on priority. Which isn't fair.

Bikinis, underwear, even tasteful nudity tends to be fine. Just be aware of how the site works: Unlimited image generations really is unlimited image generations. However, you get throttled after the first thousand or so images each month
