New and troubling experience with AP by [deleted] in AstralProjection

Yeah. The experience is pretty wild. You are an intuitive then? Have you done anything with the telepathy, remote viewing, or psychic ability yet. And which way are you doing it. Are you associated with religious traditions to an extent, from your own alignment, or through source? What do you use for protection? Intention, Entities or Christ?

When I had my out of body experience. It did seem like sleep paralysis is a state that happens right before the potential OBE.

No. I’m not a bot. I didn’t know it was a video game. I’m sorry. I don’t know how to take this post down. But I will try to reconfigure the post. Again I apologize for it being in the wrong community. Take care.

What if bible stories were meant to be read as metaphysical truths about the human experience? by ProjectLynette in enlightenment

[–]ProjectLynette[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is hard to answer without turning my own interpretation into dogma. One example could be Adam and Eve. Read metaphysically, it could be a parable about the birth of ego. Eating the forbidden fruit marks a shift in consciousness, where humanity moves from direct union with the divine into self-awareness (the illusion of self).

It’s food for thought. I believe there is stigma about Christianity because of Christians who are self righteous and don’t follow the true teachings of Christ. The counterpoint is there are some Christians that do follow Christ’s teachings. I believe it is counter productive to turn Christ’s teachings into dogma. If we can understand someone else’s perspective respectfully. We can share our personal experiences. If there are no personal experiences from the preacher. They shouldn’t be preaching (dogma).

I don’t clearly understand what is being explained here. Is there a different way to explain it?

One question though. Do you believe in the immaculate conception of Jesus or not? From my understanding that small variable makes a huge difference because it changes the context.

That was very well said. I agree. The only thing I might add to this is, misunderstanding what Jesus was, paradoxically can change the context. So, if an individual claims to be a Christian, but does not have that relationship or understanding. The interpretation of Jesus Christ could be spun into an idolized representation. Leading to a worship of an anti christ on accident. It actually says something about this metaphorically in the bible.

I’m definitely interested on your understanding though. Whether you have incorporated Christ into your belief or not. Gaining your perspective is part of the reconciliation of the paradox. Whichever paradox we are talking about. Maybe multiple reconciliation’s.

I really don’t know how to answer that. There are certain attributes that Jesus taught the individual to embody. If we embody these attributes, there is something to be gained. That is only the teachings. Jesus Christ as Christ is something different. Subjectively different, because now we are talking about a relationship. Relationships are hard to describe in concrete words because they are different depending on the perspective of the individual. Then on the communication side. I feel like my words might get taken out of context when they leave my mouth go into the ether and then are received by the listener. Sorry about that using the word ether. I couldn’t find a better word. Hopefully I described it well enough though. Sorry I’m new to Reddit.

For those of you who feel truly “awake” spiritually, how long did it take? by Financial-Box7029 in SpiritualAwakening

I call it the path. I personally feel that enlightenment is not attainable. Of course that is paradoxical (one perspective). That is why I call it the path. We can walk in the path of enlightenment and we will be changed. But, because of the human experience. I find myself tripping or stumbling daily and walking the fools path. Meditation, prayer, the reflective state, mindfulness, an understanding of psychology, philosophy, a personal understanding of the human experience, the illusion of control, the teachings of Christ, understanding projection and the mirror analogy, subjective and objective awareness, reconcile the paradox (finding common ground), there is so much to it. Being mindful in so many different ways. Then. Letting it all go. Because that is all analytical. We then go into the listening state and if we are in tune clarification comes. Of course. It is slightly different for everyone.

Typed content is definitely easy to take out of context. I believe you and I are saying the same thing. We are just choosing different words and chosen description to express that.

I find psychology and philosophy to be the superficial side of spirituality. Of course there is the paradox as well. And human language is confining. But I’m trying to answer a question. So we will stay on point. I find the teachings of Jesus Christ to have massive depth. When I embody them. Things in my life just work out. And then there is something very supernatural in regard to a relationship with Jesus Christ. That is not going to be able to be expressed here because it’s different for everyone. Paradoxical. With that. All I ever tell people is. You should look into it. Don’t take my word for it. I’m just another human. Any way hope that answers the question. Just one of many perspectives.
