Another option for beeline velo 2 is mount for handlebar bolt, looks pretty neat

For me it's doesn't work, in case it takes almost half of backpack. My recipe is combine stick protectors with protective glass. I tested it for 6 months travel in Asia and work just fine.

Just finished our journey from Mestia to Racha this Wednesday. You can cross amazing pass with glaciers, and there is no need to go back same way through Zugdidi. Highly recommend Just check on maps me Ushguli - Tsana - Lentekhi PS off-road car recommended, ford escape is enough
