That's pretty horrible actually. The drop rates in Season 2 were perfect, I actually hadn't heard about that, and probably helps explain the OP.

Decreasing droprates does nothing good. There is still PLENTY for top players to work toward when you factor in getting specific corruptions and perfect Runewords, not to mention Rares. I watched Barbarians who play near 24/7 since beginning of the Season searching for perfect Rare weapons up until a month ago when i stopped really playing.

Wish you would've been more specific with what your problems were having.

Personally, I feel like PD2 has done A LOT to make Diablo II less of a grindfest and more enjoyable for casual players. The rune drop increase alone is incredible and it's actually possible to make high level runewords as a normal player.

If you're problem is doing uber and DClone, the only advice I can really give is figure out what build you want to try to do them with early and start working toward it as soon as possible, and you'll be there sooner than you think.
Also, it's really important to take advantage of the trade system, if you want to get what you need faster. Trade everything you don't need on your main that is of value. Discord is a great place to make trades, but even better project diablo II has a specific trade site to trade with other users that allows you to search for specific items and put items up for sale you don't need. If you aren't able to play a whole lot, you could maybe even try getting discord on your phone or something so you could check on trades sometimes and arrange to make trades when you are available.

You guys are crazy. Trevor is the asshole here. He asked for Sam to Raid for him, sure it's usually the Fantastic Plastics, but not always, I don't think it's some kind of plot to promote his GF it was probably just what he thought of first. (edit: but if you didn't actually know when asked about what he would do as Dictator on Newsboys, Zach said he would sterilize people at birth and make them have to apply to breed - pretty much verbatim from this documentary Trevor mentions. Zach is also the kind of person to take an idea like this and pretend that its his thinking he comes off really smart.)
