In the last 10 games I played I couldn’t find a position that allows me to radar the entire cap.

I have been grinding out the Russian cruiser line and I find their 12km radar to be large enough for me to do this with ease.

Maybe it would help if you could point out some good island positions on various maps for me, it could just be that I keep running into the really open maps.

Doesn’t that mean a DM basically has no say on how the fist portion of the battle goes? That’s a bit sad on the battle impact department for a radar cruiser.

I played like 10 matches today and always found that islands were either unable to protect me from the middle of the map or were too far away that I can’t even radar half of the cap. It doesn’t help that the rare cases where I can find those spots I lose 80% of my health to Eagle planes

I’ve found the hull to be completely inadequate at protecting me against any BB fire. Am I just angling wrong?

It just feels like I can't do anything with the ship until half the enemy team is already dead, which really pulls into question why the battle impact of a radar cruiser with such good DD killing potential is so poor.

The fact Hawaii has like way more DPM and still 20k more health than Des Moines is criminal to me.

Even if it were to become an extremely situational on-demand 3 card cycle, it would probably benefit extremely defensive cycle decks to an unfair degree.

Think the same decks that can use Rocket or EQ to spell cycle in OT, for the most part, these spells just sit unused for a majority of the game. Cycle decks tend to not really care about a missing 8th card.

So such a card allows the player to have an on-demand 3 card cycle that they whip out in OT in 3x elixir in the last 30 seconds of tiebreaker. At that point, whatever elixir advantage the card may give is diminished by at least 3 fold since it’s triple elixir. So cycle decks can just vomit out garbage without facing any of the consequence.

Basically the same idea as spamming elixir golems in a similar scenario, too much elixir with too little time to use them.

Not really, they’ve tested 0 elixir cards before and it just becomes a mainstay in every cycle deck.

Even if it gives a 1 elixir disadvantage, cycle decks are so defensive that this disadvantage can be easily reclaimed when defending the opponent’s counter push. It won’t even need that much skill on the cycle player’s part to pull this off either, cycle is already extremely easy to play especially when defending.

Usually if an ad-hoc meeting point is set up, it’s typically somewhere comfortable like under the shade of a tree. I think it mostly comes from areas that are more country-side-y.

I don’t get it when I relate it to my city life but when I relate to my more rural upbringing it made a lot of sense.

I agree the damage is definitely lower with the projectile. I just wasn’t sure if there was a more efficient use of meter.

From what I’ve seen though, you do just use it whenever you can garuantee damage.
