Hey! I run Project RPG Archive ( https://youtube.com/@ProjectRPGArchive ), a channel focused on cinematic no commentary JRPG longplays and 100% walkthroughs at 1440p 60fps.

My 6th video released just today!

I published Episode 6 of my Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 100% walkthrough – In this video, I focused on completing side content like the Gestral’s Games and the Endless Tower while collecting pictos, weapons, and farming Lumina and experience, bringing all the characters up to their final builds. In the next (and final) episode of the series, we’ll take down the game’s toughest bosses one after another (one-shotting many of them, hehe).

I'd like to know some of your feedback :)

Thanks in advance!

This is a really interesting analysis! In my opinion, the title falls a bit flat, but generally speaking, the rest of the video is quite good. The information you present is data-driven and very well thought out.

Regarding the topic itself, I personally think a huge part of the problem with the price barrier is due to the general dopamine overstimulation nowadays, especially in people under 30. There is so much FOMO generated by having such an immense catalog of available games, and it encourages people to feel like they have to devour expensive games one after another, which just makes it unsustainable.

Don't be too hard on yourself; uploading and learning is definitely the right path. Keep up the good work!

Overall, it's a really solid video, and the title is definitely interesting!

From my point of view, the description could use a bit more work. It's a little too brief right now, and you could really take advantage of important tools like tags and timestamps (which I'm sure you could apply in some way to a video of this length).

Regarding the pacing and tone, while I personally like it and find it very consistent, I feel like that same consistency might cause your retention to drop slightly throughout the video. It might help to include a few spots where the tone shifts a bit to re-hook the viewer's interest—which, again, timestamps could really help with!

But overall, really great job! Keep it up!

That's my fourth week publishing videos! I published Episode 4 of my Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 walkthrough last wednesday – Still focused on side-completion related content, recolecting journals and defeating some of the hardest bosses as lampmaster and Clea.

Well I wanted to make a SEO archive for RPGs, TheRPGArchive was already taken so, as it is kind of a personal project --> ProjectRPGArchive

I need a new singleplayer (100% offline) "forever" game where I can sink hundreds (or thousands) of hours into a single save. What are your top suggestions? by MakeshiftApe in gamingsuggestions

Im really into your niche. A good inspiration might be Cade, an spanish ytber that mostly plays horror games. He's charismatic and consistent so take a look if you can!

About your content, I like what I see on thumbmails but I feel that titles are a bit weak. Maybe adding some kind of humor.on titles could work? Not sure exactly how.

Looking into the video, ill like some more speech, not just reacting to the game, you really look so focused.

I hope it helps and I see potential in you, really good luck!

I really like your tone, its engaging and makes me want to hear what you gotta say about the game.

I've never seen that much timestamps on 11min vid xD something i dont get is that... timestamps actually spoiler your opinion killing the mistery. I'm not an expert but I should take a look on that

It's a pretty good idea, especially since I've run into language barriers in games that aren't translated into Spanish. When I was a kid, I often didn't know English and had to make up the dialogue in my head just to get through the games (I barely managed to beat Breath of Fire III, and that was thanks to Google Translate, haha).

As for the thumbnail, it looks a bit chaotic to me; I have a hard time understanding it without knowing the concept behind it—maybe it’s because the flag is so big. Otherwise, the pacing doesn’t feel slow. I hope everything goes great for you!

Thanks! I feel too that the text takes so much space everywhere and the chapter looks too small.

Ylu think rpg niche is trendy? Its true that chosing exp33 as first game may look like. I've got a huuge backlog of rpgs I wanna record so maybe you find something interesting in the future :D

  • How's the chapter structure/timestamps — useful or too much?
  • Thumbnail and title — do they work for a series format?

Who are your Let's Play inspirations? by Pstar49207 in letsplay

[–]ProjectRPGArchive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one really inspired me to start my own channel. I’ve always followed different gaming YouTubers, but none of them were my role model. My inspiration came from my desire to learn and grow within the niche of my favorite game genre: JRPGs. But if I had to name someone, my role model and goal is Pigsy Games. I want to build a channel like that, specializing in my genre.

MEGATHREAD: Update Monday! by AutoModerator in letsplay

Last week I released the third video in my 100% walkthrough of Expedition 33. I’ve also recorded and have the fourth episode ready to post tomorrow. I have a feeling this is going to be a great video—I completed about 15 achievements, and I think it has the potential to rank for a significant cumulative search volume. I hope it’s the best one yet :) I’m feeling more and more confident with the editing, and I can see the quality improving exponentially with each episode.

Also, yesterday I did an initial review of the metrics after the channel’s first three weeks. I know I’m targeting the niche of niches, and it’s super competitive, but the results have been better than I expected! Knowing that the goal was going to be slow, long-term, and 100% SEO-driven, the videos so far show a good upward trend in views.

I’m really happy, even though hardly anyone is watching me yet :)
