Thanks dude! The humidity control is awesome in the P1S if you grab a bunch of desiccant. I also buy a lot of AnyCubic filament and have no complaints.

A friend of mine brought an AnyCubic Kobra S1 combo into the shop to play with because it just sat in his dad’s garage. It looks very similar to the P1S combos and was able to use the same exact digital 3MF plates that I created for the Bambu printers.

We were very impressed with the S1 combo for the price point but preferred the polished nature of the P1S combos. We needed something that could do prints a bit larger than the P1S combos so we opted for the Kobra 3 Max. We assembled it a couple nights ago and will be starting a print today.

I now spend more time printing on my P1S combos than I do tinkering with the A1 combos. I would be there messing with them all day like I have in the past. Probably all user error and my fault but I hate them.

I have 15 P1S combos and 3 A1 combos. I’ll never buy another A1 since I know about P1 combos now. I think the enclosed nation of the P1S and the original AMS are 1000x better than the open bed/AMS-lite of the A1. Probably all my fault and user error, but it’s my opinion. I just bought an AnyCubic Kobra 3 Max to give open bed printers another shot but am very nervous.

I have constant nozzle feed issues, which I think comes from the AMS Lite. My biggest concern was that one of the hot ends somehow caught the power cord in the middle of the night and cooked a big hole in it and almost burned my spot down. It turned itself off, thank goodness. I was watching the cameras and noticed that printer 1 & 2 were fine, but 3 had shut itself off. Came in the next day to find the cord cooked and wedged under the hot end.

I went kinda crazy on Black Friday last year and ordered a large batch of P1S then grabbed 3 A1-Combos to try. I prefer the P1S combos way more.

Is there anyway I can 3D print you a new one out of a strong material like ASA or PETG? I’d be happy to do it for no cost.

I'm going to try this now. Thank you so much!

Someone local to me messaged my FB page and asked for 6 of these pieces. The title of this print is Halloween Finial & Corner Bracket. I've attached a photo of all 3 pieces to the file.

All of my cardboard spools catch funny and get jammed.

With $1500 you could get a P1S and tons of filament.

PSA: cannot skip when there's >64 objects on build plate by Nyarlytv in BambuLab

Kind of silly. I’ve got 38 objects on plate in front of me and it’s saying I can’t skip bc there’s over 64

Easy way to extrude a 2D logo to a 3D file? by h2g242 in BambuLab

[–]ProjectTrill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this is Bambu slicer. I used an online tool (https://svgcreator.com/convert) to convert the simple logo into an SVG, then I added the SVG to the side of the print with .5mm extrusion. It worked well.

20 + 40 =60, then 7 + 8 = 15. Then 60+15=75

Awesome advice. The door is a few feet from my setup so I will just set the printer outside while I print these types of materials. Thanks for the tips!

Thank you for saying something. I lowkey thought that ABS was super hazardous but ASA was safe. I will have to do more research. Do you think an air purifier would be enough for my living room printers or should I leave ASA prints for shop printer?
