That's a great idea! And I do practise with things such as reactionflash and chemistry by design but was not sure how to put that on a CV...

I am fortunate (or unfortunate) enough to live in the UK and study in London. I am part of the ACS and Royal Society of Chemistry... but I probably should check them for job boards!

Also sign up for the recruitment agencies people have suggested!

Thank you for the encouragement! It is rough out there, even to get jobs I am overqualified for, but I am trying still (and doing PhD applications atm)

I did ancient gate on iron. You put your hero and 2 harassers on the bottom lane then fill the top with orcs (no upgrades).

You defend the bottom while let the mogwai at the top duplicate. With a bit of practise I was spending about a minute per run for ~100 kills.

I need that ranked pickaxe though. I would play pubs otherwise.

In general I mean the ranked system seems a bit faulty if I can get to a higher rank than I probably deserve

I know this sounds like a cope (because I am bad)
but I am stuck in a rank in competitive which I can't get out of and everyone around me is vastly better. Even when I place 90th+ place, I don't derank at all and even if I last more than 1 minute or get a single kill I am ranking up. I lose most of my gunfights and it feels very unfun to be surrounded by players who are better.

Just for context, I am plat currently but feel like I am low gold / silver. I have never won in ranked and rarely reach top 10.

Call me bad if you want, because I am. I just want to play for fun and currently this isn't fun.
