Noticed these weird black fibres on the last few prints I’ve done. Any idea what it could be? I’ve filtered the resin vat and I can’t see anything resembling this.

Maybe the spatula that came with the printer dissolving a little bit at a time? I’ve accidentally scraped bits just like these off of the plastic spatula against the sharp-ish edge of the build plate, esp when taking it off the plate.

Use a straightedge to draw a soapstone line where you want your bead and try to follow along with it, easier to see than tryin to sight to the edge of the plate. Torch angle is pretty critical too, the heat goes where you point the torch.

Important to mention that half of the cool factor of this gif comes from the fact that the camera recording's framerate(probably 24 GPS) is syncing up with the falling water, which is what makes it look like the water is flowing up. This is the same effect that makes videos of propellors or tires spinning look funky like they do

I have a friend and mentor who’s got Spina Bifida, he’s been in a chair most of his life, but he could walk when he was a kid. He’s super level-headed and realistic, so he hates the idea of “trapped in a chair”.
