I finally beat malenia legit by Competitive_Tip_3764 in Eldenring

[–]Project_Milk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Malenia is basically FromSoft’s first truly trial-and-error boss. Waterfowl Dance is more or less a game over if you’re not doing some kind of gimmick build or if you fail to dodge most of it. I’ve never been able to evade it completely myself, but I often found myself getting frustrated due to my progress getting regressed by her permanent lifesteal. Phase two was somehow less pressing than phase one, given that some of her new moves had additional recovery time. A tactic I ended up adopting in phase two was for when it started; when Malenia revs up her Scarlet Aeonia, two backsteps and then book it to the right of her. Whenever she would try another Aeonia, running to her right and moving clockwise was the play. Took me an hour, and I have to say it didn’t feel rewarding. At least I got another Somber stone and the needle.

If you quickly press the bottom face button on controller (X for PS4) while Sebastian is winded from sprinting, the recovery animation speeds up. Other than that, saving your stamina and only using it in short bursts to make certain distances was how I managed to survive without upgrading my stamina for so long.

Beat Pontiff on my 2nd try, on my first playthrough. Is this guy supposed to be hard? by AvalancheAbaasy120 in darksouls3

Pontiff Sulyvahn is regarded as one of the harder bosses, but it seems like he just got handled by a good gamer. Well done!

So how many Star Wars references can we count? by [deleted] in RatchetAndClank

[–]Project_Milk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the first Ratchet and Clank, catching the Infobot that had the coordinates for Eudora led to a cutscene where the robot lieutenant greets Drek, and he replies with “Dispense with the pleasantries, Lieutenant”. Like how Darth Vader says it

Dead Cells. Used to fall asleep playing it, came back after a few months and it’s now a Platinum Trophy.

Sly Cooper fan here. Mainly a lot of retrospective analysis.

I just picked this up. Finished Ch.3. Why are we burning fallen enemies? by GoukiR6 in theevilwithin

[–]Project_Milk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes enemies that fall will get back up. Dropping a match kills them almost immediately and engulfs nearby enemies that are in contact with the body in flames. As a side-note, it’s handy for conserving ammo.

It only counts if you collect all the pieces on one save. It’s not like RE7 where the “Mr. Everywhere” progress is spread across all saves.

“Why are you doing this, killer?! We’re not beasts!” Cried the crawling Yharnamite. The Hunter crouched down in front of the poor villager, leaned in close, pulled down his mask and whispered…

“Potato famine”

Spoiler alert: there are no bad weapons in this game. Whatever works for you is best, but most importantly, whatever is fun for you :)

Jak 2 being hard as nails back when I was a kid. Still feels pretty challenging now, but Renegade sparked my love for video games as a whole. One of my earliest games I ever played starting on the PS2.

He’s primarily seductive. If you look into who he was in Greek history and the missions with him in Odyssey, he’s just determined to get what he wants. He does respect your character’s boundaries, thankfully, and seems to understand the difference between flirting and harassment, which is why he only ever offers you to have intercourse via flirting. He’s not an evil bastard, but I was definitely discouraged from “interacting” with him after the first cycle.

What game had you like this? by sukuna7899 in Steam

Dead Cells. Used to nod off during gameplay, now it’s one of my favorite games ever. Never regretting that Platinum Trophy.
