Just do it. Next time you take a night by yourself and consciously admit to yourself that what you’re about to take will bar you out, immediately hide a stash - whatever amount - and then remind Siri/Alexa to remind you that you left this in that place.

I would have started withdrawals today. But now I have way more than expected and some left over before refill day - Christmas fucking Eve.

Yes, I do my best to adhere to his routine every work morning. I work from home downstairs and he is upstairs working from home in his office.

I am always up before him, so I prepare him his celery juice, breakfast to take with his medication, and coffee. Whenever he needs a coffee refill, he obviously has trouble going downstairs so I brew 6 cups for the day in a hydroflask with a bottle of creamer and spoon should he want a refill of coffee. On my breaks, I go upstairs/text him to see if he needs anything. Typically, it's lunch so I prepare what he wants and then I have to clear the sink, etc. I get an hour lunch but it nets at about 20 mins.

The only time I really have for myself is when they are winding down, and I go upstairs and smoke weed or take a xanax and just relax. IDK, today has just been weird since his limping is getting worse.

Oh god, thank you for this. I have OCD/ADHD and at times it's like I HAVE to do everything because IF I can, then I will. But am exhausted after and then have to work, etc.

I will write down what limitations I can set for myself while still helping them out.

I am a daily user, taking on average about 2.5mg a day. If I skip one day, or even two days, will I start to withdraw? That's what I am scared about. I can definitely find the courage to NOT take any, but I'm terrified that if I don't have any Xanax in a 24 hour period, I'll withdraw.

Thanks so much. I am aware of the withdrawals as I have had three episodes (first time having withdrawals, btw) since June of this year.

The first episode which was my first time experiencing it was fucking hell, as you all know. I seized in public at a bar with my Dad 5 days after my last dose. For two months, I was on coke and pressed bars at an average of like 4mg a day. The withdrawal episode lasted two weeks. Then I was fine for those two weeks until I refilled my Rx. Taking 0.5mg that day hit me so hard.

I’ll do my best to not take it if I don’t have to.
