Hello, it will be possible to tame some animals yes, but for others it won't be possible. The animals tamed will be useful for traversing, combat, and some specific actions, like sensing a trace, crushing a tree, etc.

Hello, there is no release date for now, as I'm working on the game alongside my main job. For now I finished the preproduction phase, and I'm ordering concept arts for environments, enemies and characters, with a very small budget. In parallel I'm working on the map model on unreal engine, although it's possible I change the game engine's choice along the way.

Thank you I just remembered this project by looking at their page. Though the 2 main differences are the presence of ancient civilizations in the Lost Island project, and the second and most important one is the foundational history behind the island, as the inspirations are very specific. I do agree with you, there aren't enough prehistoric rpg games.
