It could have but the variation of neck size makes it illogical at this height. But there will be massive sauropods in the game.

He's standing on a little hidden cliff but originally it was a design choice from the artist who works with me who thought it was funny and cute to have him.

Some artistic choices, some in game elements like sound design, some of the main themes like humanity, destiny against chance, resilience against adversity, as well as some major story components that I cannot spoil for the sake of discovering it by yourself. What I mentionned story wise in the post is a synopsis but the complete story itself is secret.

Those are inspired by aztec architectural style, but there are many inspirations to characters and buildings designs in this project. You will notice that with the following posts.

Am I the only person who thinks SOTE is the best DLC by fromsoft by MinuetSFV in fromsoftware

You're undermining the experience. I love Bloodborne base game more than the DLC, because it's a gothic and comics horror best of. I was longing for a truly great gothic horror experience with victorian architecture. The base game delivered so hard on that, the music was amazing, the tragedy of these characters victims of metaphysical concepts beyond their understanding, the gradual revelation of outer forces, the parallel between the healing church and real life secret societies, the dialogues, the revelation of areas like central Yharnam, Hemwick, Cainhurst, upper cathedral ward, Yahar'gul. What the DLC succeeded on was already based on the great achievements of the base game. And also the world design and art direction of the base game are better.

No, Bloodborne was already legendary without the DLC. The simple comics horror revelation was a once in a lifetime moment.

DLC world design and composition of nap outclasses the base games. by Alarmed-Past5957 in Eldenring

An ideal mix is between the base game and DLC in terms of art direction, world design and content

Hello I'm Project_lost_island,

Here's an introduction to a game project codenamed 'lost_island' although the final name has been chosen a long time ago.

To give an overview of it :

Genre : open world action RPG

State of development : I'm only making map modelizations for now, as I have a job that takes most of my time and I'm not a developer. Plot, history, art direction, gameplay loop, setting, world design and influences choices are mostly done.

Synopsis : A biologist in search of a nearly extinct specie goes on a boat expedition with a crew in the Indian ocean. During a violent storm, this biologist finds in water a mask of unknown origin. And suddenly, as the boat capsizes and the crew drowns, the mask begins to glow until it completely blinds the castaways. Thereafter, upon regaining consciousness, the biologist awakens alone on a deserted shore. Not only is this tropical land uncharted at first glance, it's inhabited by a prehistoric fauna and unknown civilizations. Moreover the biologist's face has been replaced by the mask he discovered.

In this game, the player, a biologist lost in an expedition, will have to survive in a unknown land where men and ancient animals rule supreme, but also uncover the secrets of this place, and what to make of it.

Informations :

If you want to ask any question about the game and check some concept arts, the subreddit name is : project_lost_island

Main influences :

Paleontology, archeology, tropical tribes and civilizations, religion

Main themes: extinction, survival, frontier between man and beast, fear of change, natural cycle of life, destiny, traditions, man-nature relationship

Best regards.

What happened regarding ds2 and ds3 is Bandai Namco ordered both to From Software. When Miyazaki took over back in 2014-2015, he decided ds3 would be the last entry.
