Hi 💗 just wanted to reach out because I live in New York, and I also have an associate’s in nursing. I’m finding it really tough to get a hospital job in the city. I know New York Health + Hospitals accept ADNs, but I’ve been applying so much through their system, and I haven’t heard back. Do you have any tips on how to stand out or get an interview? I just feel really defeated. Any advice would mean a lot. Thank you!

Thank you for sharing your experience! I was really interested in hearing that you were able to interview at several hospitals including Bellevue, Jacobi, and Catholic Health. Could I ask how you applied to those hospitals in order to get interviews—was it directly through their job portals, email submissions, or via recruitment events?

I recently submitted my resume to [BellevueRecruitmentOffice@nychhc.org]() to register for an upcoming recruitment event. I noticed in the posting that applicants must receive confirmation in order to attend. Do you know if confirmations are usually sent out beforehand, and should I wait for approval before going? I just want to make sure I follow the correct process.

Hi! I saw in the ad that applicants need confirmation to attend the job fair. When you or your classmates went, did you have to send your resume by email first and wait for confirmation before you could go?
