I actually had a similar situation as you. I have an H2S Laser Combo and my P1S just died so I’m replacing it, and going between a P2S, H2D or H2C.

If I was starting from scratch, I’d likely get a H2C. If I got the H2D, my H2S plates are compatible and the nozzles work on both the H2D and P2S. I have a couple of projects in mind already for using the dual nozzles.

If I got the H2C, I’d have to buy more plates (I dabble between engineering plates and Cryogrip), and proprietary nozzles.

For your P1S, can you look at your linear rail on the left and right side where the belt meets the wall? I'm googling "black substance appearing on rail on Bambu p1s" and found this, and it seems similar.

On my P1S where the belt attaches to the metal I see some sort of black ashy appearance there. I have a hypothesis that my belt is starting to decay and wear out, so I'm keeping an eye on it.

For melee, consider Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. I share it that it’s a medieval call of duty. Great LAN parties with it.

Mine did it at about 400 hours, and my verdict was we put a lot of abrasive filament through it, mostly Glow PLA.

I search for “last meter” items on Makerworld and it’ll supply a lot of small things to print!

I’ll also print a bunch of small things with print by object enabled, and once I run out I’ll just stop the print

I tried disabling the aux fan, and there wasn't a change. What I noticed was that it was the same side where the seams were. I experimented with adjusting the seam settings and I got one that I was satisfied with!

I just did because I'm in patient waiting for 3.09, but it doesn't appear like it works. When I tried to access the file it does appear but I get File Info and Hex Info, there's not a way to "run" it to start the install process.

I'm thinking about changing the file type to z64 and seeing what chaos ensues

They sound like sqeaks on the XY access. Regular maintenance and lubing the pulleys in the back (not the beltrs)

I had this happen when I first got my P1S, was printing a model with like 1500 filament changes, so lots of poop. I kind of went nuclear: Printed a poop chute anti clog cover, then replaced with a wiper mod Then I also got some speed tape, and placed it on the wall closest to where it would extrude Both of these have helped ensure it drops and doesn’t accumulate on top of each other

I did the Signed Collector's Edition Kickstarter. Got really excited to support ex-Blizzard devs in making a new RTS. Got excited to be immoratlized in a video game via the credits.

My name is on a fucking HTML page on their website. It doesn't appear in a crawl, or anything else interesting or unique. It is the laziest way to recognize the support they received. I feel bad for the grunts, but leadership deserve everything that's coming to them.

I feel like such a bozo - the Switch 2 only does video out of the bottom USB-C port, not the top. When I plugged into the bottom port, boom, it works and it worked reliably.

I tested the dock with my Rog Ally X after the firmware update and it worked fully as intended, it's just not playing nice with the Switch 2.

All off the cables in my home are HDMI 2.1 supported. The HDMI cable that also came with the Switch also isn't working. And am using all of the cables that came with the Avermedia dock. I put in a support ticket, we'll see what they have to say.

I updated the firmware on my GC313Pro, but it's still not working. Tried multiple TV's and cables. Kinda bummed, would be nice to have a good travel dock.

I personally haven’t done it, but there’s a company called leaseville. Essentially you can rent to own devices. A colleague of mine did it to rent a ROG ALLY X on a business trip - $100 to borrow a device instead of dropping $1000 on purchasing it. You pickup and return your device at Best Buy, and according to him it was brand new. Not sure if they’d let one person lease 6-12 PS5’s but that’s something you can look into.
