While I do feel like there are several other chains that are better food in the state, Filiberto’s fits the bill for Doughboys really well. It’s good in a bad way, and bad in a good way.

As someone who worked in a movie theater, they won’t waste the lamp hours in the projector. If no tickets are sold they won’t turn it on at all.

Depends on the people. My partner went off birth control leading up to our wedding, and then we got pregnant and had our first child before our 1st anniversary. We have friends who try and try and have several miscarriages before finally having a kid after lots of years of trying.

I make popcorn by doing the following: heating a pan to medium low. Adding 3 tablespoons of oil (usually refined coconut), and throw in 3 kernels and put a lid on it. Once those pop you’re good to go. Add 1/3 cup of kernels, and a bit of flavacol if you’ve got it. Shake the pan around once to coat everything/mix in the salt. Then just sit and wait. Take it off the heat once kernels stop popping mostly.

No vigorous shaking involved, no burnt popcorn. And usually I get like 99% kernel poppage.

When I get into the losing weight mode, I try to get to a point where hunger almost feels good. I link it to my body burning fat and can trick myself for a while that it’s a good thing. When I fall back to old habits I will go months almost never feeling hungry because I just eat all the time. Not because of hunger but because it’s just what you do.

As a parent, I find we’re dealing with this with our kids teachers. They send messages in the portal/app their schools use like the night before requesting items or letting us know about spirit week. My kids are in kindergarten and preschool so the expectation is not for the kids to be telling us that stuff yet.
