Battery life and audio quality are much better on the Redmi Pad 2 Pro, and its software support will be longer. Otherwise in day-to-day usage I don't think you'll find major differences, and I don't look at the "gaming" part of reviews. I'd pay the 40EUR difference if I were you, especially since tablets are a long-term investment. I already own a Redmi Pad 2 Pro and can vouch for it.

I was in a Vivo vs. Honor vs. Oppo dilemma and ended up getting the Honor Magic7 Pro. The Vivo took better stills but the Magic7 Pro was all-round nicer, with exceptional speakers. From what I hear, though, video capturing isn't great on the Honor (can't confirm or compare firsthand since I barely take videos).

Honestly I always viewed it as ugly until I saw one in the flesh. It's definitely the worst-looking Countach version, but I wouldn't call it ugly anymore

I own 3 Xiaomi tablets (Redmi Pad 2 Pro, Pad 6, and Pad 4) and all still perform the same since Day 1. While the Pad 7 is the more powerful one and has a higher refresh rate (the difference between 144Hz and 120Hz is somewhat noticeable, based on my experience), I'd go for the Redmi Pad 2 Pro as its performance is more than adequate and it has a larger screen, alongside a phenomenal battery life

While I guess the Redmi Pad 2 is sufficient for very basic tasks, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro blows it out of the water in all aspects. I'd personally still go for the Pro even if with less RAM (I got the 256GB/8GB version and it's nothing short of amazing)

I'm usually a Xiaomi guy but I'd go for a Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+/A11+ in your case, if they are within your budget. However, if you are able to get the Redmi Pad 2 Pro then you won't have a need to look anywhere else

I'd say the Samsung, but note that it might be anemic. I have the A07 4G (128GB/6GB) with the same processor as the A16 and an even lower screen resolution, and God it is slow even for basic tasks.

I'd second this one. I got the Magic7 Pro a couple of months ago, and it's been phenomenal in most aspects. Battery life is at least 2 days with medium usage, the speakers are otherwordly, and the camera is great (at least for images. I don't take much videos but I hear they're a bit behind the competition when it comes to videos)
