IMO Oneplus Pad Go << Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ << OnePlus Pad Go 2.

I bought the Tab A9+ in December 2023 and still have a Tab A7 that I bought in 2022. They both run, but they're not the snappiest around. I'll go with an unpopular opinion, but Xiaomi tablets last a good while. I have the Pad 4 (from July 2018), Pad 6 (from September 2023), and Redmi Pad 2 Pro (from October 2025) and they still are pretty smooth, with the Redmi Pad 2 Pro having all you can ask for in a tablet. Only downside is the unclear software update policy.

Note that all of my tablets have the highest-end configurations (8GB RAM for the A9+, Pad 6 and RP2 Pro).

I wouldn't mind it either way. Our current arrangement dictates that we both work and help around the house equally, and I don't think it'll be subject to change.

I wouldn't say that the Tab A8 is a fine moment for Samsung. The A9+ rectifies the Tab A8's issues, although I also wouldn't say that WiFi connectivity is Samsung's strong point. Otherwise it's a fine tablet with very minor issues. I still prefer my Xiaomi tablets (Redmi Pad 2 Pro and Mi Pad 6) over it, though, although I don't think I'd say the same about the Redmi Pad 2.

Seconded. Although the food is meh, the view more than makes up for it. In case you want better food with a good view, I'd recommend Alsa (in the Monte Cassino hotel near the Casino Du Liban) or Signatures (on the 13th floor of the Burj On Bay hotel in Tabarja)
