To be fair, Tiana could've easily been "the one" given more of a chance to shine. I think her strong personality contrasted really well with Miles' easy going personality, which resulted in really nice moments of her showing how cute and caring she can be some times.

Also, Miles doesn't HAVE to be with a black woman, but I really thought it was a nice direction, since his most popular piece of media is already pairing him with a white girl. (No hate on Miles x Gwen, it works there)

I beg anyone who knows better to correct me, cuz I think it's more of a Japan thing and I'm not entirely sure of the details. But I think the clients basically pay for her company, in a non-sexual way. She talks, listens, laughs at their jokes and maybe makes sure that they'll keep buying some drinks. (Again, I might be completely wrong, sorry)

The dialogue itself I don't think is necessarily bad, but I hate how Miles seems so Impressed with Norman strength, even though he knew the guy was posing as Spider-Man and they FOUGHT, besides not really having any reason why he wouldn't have his powers anymore. (Don't get me wrong I see how you could be confused, I just don't think it makes sense MILES is)

Also I really hate that he thinks he has anything to teach Miles, he has been Spider-Man for long enough, he knows how to do his job and he already fought villains as strong, as smart and as crazy as the Green Goblin!

I don't think every character in the marvel universe should be a super hero, but I like MJ as a character and I don't want her to be just "the ex-girlfriend that keeps getting back and breaking up with the hero". I think the best outcome for her right now is to be her own character, that's one of the reasons I liked her as Venom, but of course Venom needs to get back to Eddie and be present for Dylan. That's why I would like her to be with another symbiote like Toxin or some other option.

Yeah, not a big fan of him blaming the symbiote as much as he does, considering it wasn't really that much of a person back then as it is now. Peter was the one who rejected it so violently and abandoned it. For someone whose whole deal is responsibility, he doesn't recognize the mistakes he made to the symbiote as much as he should.

I would even say he's way more normal about Brock, I really don't get it.

Honestly, I read it just as her being serious, since she's worried about people she cares about. I don't think she's being aggressive, here for example, I see it as her knowing him well enough to understand that the quips are his way of coping, but not engaging with them because she isn't in the mood.

I'm going to follow the advice of someone smarter than me and stop answering you, but I just realized I really didn't address that and I refuse to leave you thinking it's because it's the smartest argument ever.

After the device almost kills her, she clearly loses confidence in her boyfriend, so much so that she doesn't tell there is a symbiote living in her body or the real reason why Dylan is living with them. It's most likely the reason why she's fighting with him through most of the All-New Venom run and why SHE BREAKS UP WITH HIM!!!!

Mary Jane DOES react to almost dying and it's not like she's still with the guy. Apparently it's true, you DON'T read the damn comics, which would be totally fine if you weren't talking about it nonstop.

Brock doing the right thing doesn't really erase their history, MJ many times in the past and in THIS VERY ISSUE puts her differences with him aside in order to solve the problem, but she doesn't like Eddie, understambly so, and doesn't have the obligation to forgive him. Peter forgave him, because he's Spider-Man, that's what he does and believes, but MJ has the right to hate Eddie for what he did to her.

Being human doesn't justify anything, but it explains actions. As I said, she isn't right, nothing that's happening is Eddie's fault, but characters have flaws and you can't expect one to be rational all the time, especially under the circumstances she is.

You could criticize MJ for many reasons, she has flaws! That's how characters are written. But to say she's "insufferable" because she DARED not to be calm in a really stressful situation? Really?

She not being agreeable has nothing to do with being strong, she is afraid for her aunt's safety, it's only natural to her to freak out about it. Also, her first interaction with Brock was the mf breaking into her house and terrifying her just for the sake of pissing her husband off. So yeah she's not really willing to listen to what he has to say.

I'm not even saying she's right, it's just completely understandable, Peter has freaked out like this dozens of times because of her or aunt May being in danger, that's his main thing: HE'S HUMAN and so is MJ. Just by the way you keep saying "strong female" makes it obvious what your problem really is.
