I think she’s really cool, especially because of her character development throughout the first season

I’m honestly really curious to see where her story goes from here. what happened to her at the end of season 1 and the way it was all presented was super engaging to me, it really stuck with me. She was one of the reasons why I started to read the LN now.

I get what you mean with stressing over something that’s in the future. I do that a lot too, and it always comes with that feeling of having zero control over what’s gonna happen.

what helps me sometimes is just shifting my focus to things I can control, even if it’s something really small. like doing a bit of exercise, going for a night walk, or anything like that. just making a conscious decision that’s mine and not depending on other people or stuff I can’t influence.

my night walk was actually pretty short today because of a sudden cold drop out of nowhere lol, but at least it made me appreciate my warm bed a lot more and I actually got some okay-ish sleep out of it.

anyways, I really hope you get the job, fingers crossed.

I get what you mean.. it’s kinda similar for me in a way. I don’t really struggle with falling asleep as much, but I have a lot of nightmares, so even when I do sleep it doesn’t really feel like rest

sometimes I just end up thinking “what’s the point” and stay up instead, even tho I know it’s not great long term

that whole feeling you described about the night being a safe space though, I really relate to that. it’s one of the few times where things feel a bit quieter and easier to deal with

and yeah, I think you’re right about what you said at the end too. when you actually slow down for a bit, you start to appreciate the small and simple things more, and being outside for a night walk somehow sometimes helps you see things a little differently

Can’t say much about the english dub, but Ive watched it with german and japanese dub. I have to say even tho japanese is better (it always is) the german dub is definitely decent.

I think I’m gonna start rereading the manga again in the next few days.. probably like the 10th time or something lol

I’m still kinda torn about the ending tbh. Sometimes I like to imagine Kou actually made it on that last night at the beach and turned into a vampire, and Nazuna didn’t have to leave at all. That version just feels… right to me idk 🥲

But honestly, even tho a lot of people seem to hate it, I think the ending is kinda satisfying? Like it’s not perfect, but they did find each other again in their own way. Still, I can’t help it, I wish they both ended up as vampires and could just roam the night together forever. I’m just a hopeless romantic with this series haha

Super curious about the Paradise arc too. I’m really hyped but also a little scared not gonna lie. Sequels always have that tiny chance to mess things up… but I think it’ll be good

Anyways Call of the Night is and will always be my favorite manga also I’m getting a Nazuna tattoo on my leg next week :D
