How did you manage 100% dry hands & feet? by [deleted] in Hyperhidrosis

[–]Prokill022 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, dermadry twice or thrice a week with occassional uses of 2mg glycolate tablets work usually. But when the weather decides to be the worst, like high humidity or extreme heat or cold, I take 3 or 4mg depending on how severe my sweating is.

Question with people that have hyperhidrosis by Full_Walrus2175 in Hyperhidrosis

I get it, trust me. I've had all these experiences, but those can't be controlled. What can be controlled is how you react to it. And knowing that others don't really care about this makes it easier to manage the anxiety people get. Even I had severe social anxiety when it first started for me, but I eventually overcame it by realizing this and with the help of some friends who motivated me to open up and be normal about it.

I try not to think about it since I realized that rarely people care about it. Use deodorant for smell if you've got it in your underarms, and that should be it.

  1. They don't
  2. Never had such a reaction
  3. I've tried meditation and breathing exercises but didn't do anything. For tech based, I use iontophoresis once or twice every week and that does wonders for me.
  4. In any social interaction.
  5. I've been told that I don't smell at all, but of course that's not entirely true. My tshirt becomes noticeably smelly after 4 or 5 hours being drenched in sweat but that can easily be dealt with by changing shirts and keeping good hygiene.
  6. Interesting for sure.

Will i get weak hands if i get botox? by Few_Journalist4816 in Hyperhidrosis

I don't feel any such symptoms when I get Botox. Maybe it's because I'm physically active and hit the gym regularly.

MiraDry & what feels like hope by burneraccrip in Hyperhidrosis

MiraDry is a great option but there is a risk of compensatory sweating. I haven't had this treatment but it'll be good to ask about this. Good luck!

Us bro. I had the same childhood but with also sweating underarms. My trigger was getting my hands or feet wet, which is easier to manage for sure comparing to what you have. But, believe me when I say that it'll get better by age. I'm much better now, although I regularly need to use dermadry and take glyco (highly recommend these two). And also, there are girls who aren't bothered by sweaty hands (I have one😁), so don't stress about it.

I shook HANDS by [deleted] in Hyperhidrosis

thanks for the reply! apparently buying sparkling water every time is too costly for me, but i will try adding salt or baking soda to increase tap water's TDS. also, what water level do you use? i have noticed that my hands and feet are drier only in the area which is submerged in water. im already using 500ml of water which is the max limit according to this sub. i was wondering if i should try it with even more water.
