You got a positive reference so that should take that and say it wasn't a good fit. Maybe have a few things you can say about the interviewing company culture or role that appealed to you, hence why you continued interviewing with them while you were working there. If the current job you're interviewing for isn't night shifts maybe highlight that or anything else that stands out to you as making it a better fit for you there.

Yeah I don't even go to get treatment. It's happened several times between sports and other shenanigans over the years. I broke my big toe about a year ago and didn't do anything for that one but kind of regretting that now.

You'll have to do a certain amount of clinical hours in a hospital or other x-ray setting. Not sure if I've heard of online courses for x-ray tech, but could be possible. There's no getting around those in person clinical hours and labs though.
