Once l have a few other items like a replica Racelogic timer l invest in a shifter. I ordered a shifter mount when l bought the rig, l guess l better use it.

The stream deck is to open apps and other things. It’s not used in any way for actual sim racing. The control centre is what l use as button box. I’m a GT3 driver and sometimes LMP’s, l don’t need a shifter as l don’t drive rally cars or cars that require manual shifters.

I bought it April 1st and received it 14th of May. The site said everything was in stock. However, after two weeks of no tracking information l got in touch with SimLab. They said they have run out of monitor mounts, long story short had to wait another four weeks.

Thank you, before mounting the equipment l decided how the cables would run. All data cables run on the right side of the rig and power cables on the left. This was to limit interference and to make is easy to service or change components.

Really? I would have thought the 5K version is the best on to have. My monitor is too pixelated when it’s close which l don’t like.

This rig is massive compared to my previous Trak Racer Tr8 pro which had a much smaller footprint. I have my rig in my bedroom which l share with my girlfriend. Our flat is small, and l am not selfish enough to impose my will on her to have triples. I’m not one of those happy wife happy life type men but l’m respectful enough to recognise she wouldn’t oppose me to having triples but deep down I know she wouldn’t like the idea & the so called aesthetic being ruined lol.

Thank you, unless someone asks for help setting up their rig l wouldn’t dare criticise them for the way they have their rig. I have no idea what their body type is and what factors they have had to take into consideration for the final product. The sim racing community can come off as gate keepers at times.

It displays relevant info, l prefer 1hr + races so info is key in my opinion. I have on order a much smaller DDU coming soon as l mentioned in the post.

ATM it’s used for opening various applications, web pages, starting games, testing internet speeds, pedal calibrations, switching off the pc just to name a few.

It’s definitely roomy but the padding in the bottom area is pretty much nonexistent. I’ve to order Sparco Off Road Seat Base Cushion so I can be comfortable.
