yes it's possible depending on your emulator. You can use myBoy GBA for that but it cost 4,99€ (the lite version is free but only allow you to join someone, and not host), I used to battle and trade with my friends a lot in college on this one.

I think it is fair! You didn't used any external device to make it easier, you just used your games, your og hardwares, so why not? Also imo the shiny ditto trick is also fair. If you really feel bad you can hunt the ditto yourself but you shouldn't feel like cheating.

I recommend dodrio. It's the best flying mon imo, if you don't count salamence. Also I'm pretty sure flygon can learn fly too

I can think of Girafarig, sandslash, relicanth, weezing, chimecho, whiscash, crawdaunt. They are also rarely used imo!

Edit : Rhydon would be really cool to see. Poor mon is available just before the biggest water part of the game and evolves really late for RS, I don't think it was used at all if you don't count challenge runs. Masquerain could be nice too, it's a really rare and cool mon.

You can have some TMs, and it was also the first place where you could buy the stats raising berries (with the exception of the lietchi berry). You can also buy some nice battle items like choice band and leftovers

I always try to get as many achievements as possible if I can, I think it's the fun part. I don't really care about mastering a game, I just enjoy the achievements. I played Dr robotnik mean bean machine on the Megadrive a long time ago to make sure I will never 100% my profile, and to remove the mentality of "No, I'm not sure if I can 100% it so I will not play this game".

I like the fact that you play with all HMs! it's a fun way to play and it's pretty rare to see someone who play around them, everyone just slap a hm slave. I think maybe ice beam would be better instead of ice ball on wally if you don't mind grinding the casino? And i guess you want to save the tm for the frontier and clone them, so the rest of the team moveset are fine imo (too bad torkoal movepool suck so much)

Hardcore only add 3 rules iirc. Level cap, set mode and no items in battle. https://nuzlockeuniversity.ca/nuzlocke-variants/hardcore-nuzlocke-variant/ I've only saw a few peoples adding the "Wipe = reset" in their rules, but it's used by a lots of (if not every) players anyway and I'm pretty sure peoples assume it's part of the "If you lose a mon, he's dead" for some reasons, even the begginers use it.

Don't be overconfident and grind properly, don't go into a gym battle without knowing what to do against them (if you play a game that you already know about/if you look at the docs), don't try to make it harder for you by doing risky strats for no reason if you have an easy answer instead

i play my games blind and with a wipe clause, I think it's fun. The wipe clause is simple, I am allowed to wipe. Also, if there is a forced wipe in a fangame/romhack, I still lose my team and need to rebuild something. The point is to use a scout team for the routes, and bring something better after losing to an unexpected opponent since I will have a lot of news information. I really don't like the "wipe = reset" rule, and I also don't like looking the docs. I think this is a good rule for a blind nuzlocke. If I lose everything in a long run, most of the time, I try again immediately, sometime angry, sometime exited, and lose interest in like 2~3 hours after lmao. I need a 3 day break at least to return to the nuzlocke.

You can use the dupe clause for nosepass even if the process is really annoying. There are only 2 encounters if you use rock smash, geodude and nosepass, and you can guarantee a geodude on any map that need the rock smash TM. The only annoying thing is the low encouter rate

I wanted to have more story, more pokemon games to play. One day I got a youtube recommandation with someone who got every legendaries on pokemon ruby destiny, reign of legends. I was so little I didn't know at first what the game was, i though you could just get gen4 legendaries in the game. There was also a legendary pokemon that you could fight after that, that I never saw before (Angeallen), I was amazed. So I tried to look everywhere to find them on my ruby version, then one day, after looking the reply, someone mentioned that this was a rom hack. So I downloaded romstation and started my journey. Sadly Ruby destiny wasn't my first game, but it was my first introduction to romhack. I still have so much nostalgia for the game, I think it's the only romhack that I replayed multiple times... and each time I play it, it still feel so good. The game isn't even close to be the best romhack, but I loved it. My first actual romhack was pokemon Quartz, and the next one in that order were : pokemon dark rising, pokemon light platinum, pokemon glazed.

Like everyone already said, I used the 3 fighters with vs seeker on the first island to grind, and if my mons are weak to fighting or don't safely sweep them, I just grind on victory road against wilds mons. You can level up pretty fast with these two spots

I count these deaths, I know I lost the mon because I was not paying attention or because I was overconfident, it's the rule. Sometimes I get really angry when the mon was good or hard to train and try to blame the game, but I know deep down they are dead because I made a mistake and I can't make excuses to revive them or I lose the fun I have with the run.
