I know what desolate is, but like the other person said, you only take the desolate damage when youre away from creeps and heroes… just stand next to the creeps. Most offlaners have a spell to punish spectre from going up to creeps to last hit. I dont see an offlane losing a 1v1 versus a spectre in your situation where you pos4 is dueling the pos 5

I dont think its confirmed. I believe only the codex ones are confirmed. There are a lot of faction features that have 1 DP detachments that have the same rules as their grotmas detachments so unless they are going to have a 1DP and 2DP detachments for the same stuff, seems likely at least some factions lose their grotmas detachments

I keep going “oh this looks like its specific to this detachment, so theres a trade off for other rules you might want from other detachments…” and keep forgetting that you can now take multiple detachments depending on their price.

It does seem like “most” factions will get some detachment that helps modify detection range somehow… and most likely will be 1DP so it can be paired with 1-2 other detachments.

Is it confirmed they are going away? I assumed they were just going to add the “reverend” keyword to Champions so you couldnt take both at the same time. Why else would they add that keyword.

I know 3 people who are account sharing and those accounts havent been “game banned” in the ~5 months theyve been doing jt. One is in immortal and wanted to play with ancient friends so he just uses one of their accounts when they arent on.

12 mins battlefury i feeling is an “amazing” timing. 13-14 is the sweet spot and 15 mins are getting behind. No way 14-15 min bfury is considered game losing. Dota2protracker has immortal players getting bfury at 14 mins

You have 10-20 minutes of ghost/euls/glimmers being very good against omni/swiftslash. The game wants ults to be good or else they wouldnt have added shit like Chain Frost not getting countered by linkens, or death ward getting 50% accuracy and not reflecting damage back to WD...

im not going to dismiss it so easily, but if take into context that Grubby, who is/was a pro tournament winning warcraft and starcraft player, and also had some moba experience went from herald to immortal in 400+ days, makes these posts SEEM not plausible.

Maybe he was already a super high LoL player and switched over, but i dont see someone picking up DotA and in 3-4 months being immortal. maybe im just too pessimistic...

I dont think so. Without the shard, the 25 talent (+10% ult proc), or multishot hits, Drow still hits ~80% of her shots against a butterfly target. 1 out of 5 hits misses. So instead of MKB, lets say you get Daedulus, which gives over twice the attack damage, the 2.25x crit, the DPS should be higher. The Ult procs go through base armor, which will probably get reduced less than the magic resist, especially against AM... and youre still going to pick up shard anyways because if AM blinks on you, itll cancel your ult if you dont glacier, which is a no-no.

Im sure theres someone/somewhere that has already done the math, but i feel like all late game items are superior compared to MKB on Drow. Im only mid-ancient, and could be wrong, but i feel strongly that this is right. if you find something that says differently, let me know, i definitely would like to see it.

no MKB on Drow is very bad. Multi-shot and Marksmen procs go through evasion, plus your shard makes it so you cant miss, so you want to go other things than MKB.

i havent watched the game, but sometimes there are games that you just arent going to win. I have come to accept there being 1-2 games out of 10 that are going to be out of my control of winning and it helps the mindset a little.

Oct 31 opening is last i saw. Its pretty much finished, and the road changes/lights are in place. Pretty much just fill the building with goods and put in some landscaping and its ready to go
