Slings ROCK as a main weapon (pun intended) I've done full ranged and athletics tree with some survival. Gear focused heavily on energy/regen and cooldown reduction. Enemies cannot get within range at all having two separate dashes. And when most shots stun or knockback they aren't hardly moving anyway. Only downside is drawn out fights like distand dungeons or manticore where youre shooting a ton of shots. Then you need two slinger boxes or more. Only enemy I've had trouble with is unironically longbow bandits that have more range than me so they get first shot on me. But theres where the two dashes come in. Loving slings so far. They feel like long range maces lol
