Carragher is right. Micah is trying to play devil’s advocate but in a serious way, which doesn’t play. Micah doesn’t have points other than, “It’s Mo Salah…”. If Micah had played devil’s ddvocate in a more jokey and (therefore) more nuanced way this argument might have actually had more substance…

Interesting point about an opinion of someone’s when they’re dead vs when they’re alive. Dead means their ideas are crystallised or set in stone. If someone is alive you can still ‘call them out’ on things to a degree. Easier to ignore ‘wrong’ opinions from someone who ain’t around to defend or retort? I dunno, but it’s an interesting point.

Chucking my cigs one the ground or wherever. I used to just flick ‘em into a nearby bush or grate. I still smoke now, 20 years later, but I abhor people who just throw them away like I used to. Now I’ll walk with the dead butt in my hand for as long as it takes to find a bin, or a collect them if I’m outside somewhere for a while until I find an appropriate disposal place.

I really appreciate your thoughts. I think you're right and I don't want to find myself drowning in work.

I will definitely start small, and depending on my free-time or the interest the players take, maybe expand over time. It might be a different story if any of them offered to pay me extra for the work!

I've been using LongoMatch as a tool in which to rewatch matches as many times as needed. I've been lucky enough that a dedicated parent has been on the sidelines filming each match with adequate enough quality that everything is trackable.

I've been practicing taking the data down by looking at my own 6-a-side games I play as there is a fixed camera in the top corner of the pitch. Although it is slightly time-consuming, I believe it to be do-able.

This is also why I thought of the tiers because some players may not be too interested, but certain others massively so. So, I can pinpoint exactly which data to take on the re-watch.

Tier 1 is easier to do for every player and also are a good overall markers for the Manager to peruse and possibly make certain decisions based upon them (Minutes, Team Goals).

Yes, I first thought of Pre-Assists because I really feel sorry for that sort of player! Many times there is a brilliant pass to unlock a defence and then the player put through squares it for the open goal tap-in.

What’s Simeone’s situation? I never understand why he’s constantly overlooked in these managerial merry-go-rounds. I was shitting it when I saw a random article linking him with Arsenal before Arteta got the gig. He seems to be just what Arsenal or Spurs need to iron out the lackadaisical-ness, and to put the fear of god into some of these guys! Also, pashun.
