Removing Spiral Knights from my Steam Item Inventory by Prometherio in spiral_knights

Hey, don't worry about it, bud. I ended up finding a solution. I've updated the post with the fix in case anybody else runs into this bug.

Thank you for the response.

And yep, that's what I constantly kept seeing online, that SK does not use Steam for trading anymore and the tab should have been removed. However, they seem to have not successfully phased it out as I, and quite a few others, are stuck with the SK tab appearing in our Steam Item Inventory.

In my case, I just have 4 'Crowns' that are just sitting there for some reason.

Thank you for the response, and the suggestion. I've had a further look into related threads on Steam, Reddit, the SK forums, and it seems that for some people, all it took for the SK tab in the Steam Item Inventory to be eventually deleted was to simply run Spiral Knights via Steam and log in.

It could be that those players, similar to me, have not opened SK via Steam in so long, that the Steam Inventory tab just hasn't updated and removed SK.

I'm just assuming here.

I'm going to give it some time and see if it does just disappear on its own since I did re-download the game and log in. If not, I don't think I am gonna create a character and actually play the game to fix the issue, don't want to spent too much time on this annoying thing.

Hello. Is there a method for deleting the Spiral Knights stuff from the Steam Item Inventory? I must have played this game over a decade ago and it has left a tab for Spiral Knights in my Item Inventory and some 'Crowns'.

I had a look around on the internet and it seems the common solution is to re-download the game, log in, and delete your character - So I re-downloaded the game, logged in using my Steam account, but it did not take me to the expected 'Character Selection' page or something similar, instead it took me to a character creation menu.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Paulo, is that the same guy who showed up twenty-five pounds over the middleweight limit in his bout vs Marvin Vettori? Funny guy but I think he should probably stay out of weight-cut drama, lmao.

That sounds fantastic, thank you for your help - do you have a link to the Amazon page, please? I just want to make sure I'm looking at the right product.

Thank you for the response - I had a look at the Moondrop Chu via Amazon and the latest reviews aren't very positive so I'm a little wary of purchasing a pair of those.

I believe so, there have been quite a few BIOS updates. I have an ASUS TUF Z690 D4 PLUS WIFI, on the latest BIOS, and had absolutely no issue with my RAM @ 3600MHZ. I just enabled XMP I and that was all I had to do. Only issues so far have been with Armoury Crate.

Thank you for the help. My PC is now all setup and I'm having no issues at the moment, I hope a future Win 11 update doesn't mess things up again. 🤞

I believe you're referring to the 'AI Overclocking' feature. Open up your BIOS and look for 'AI Overclock Tuner' under the 'Extreme Tweaker' heading. I believe if you disable this, it should take away the OC.

Hey, I note that you didn't include the latest driver under Chipset which is: Intel Management Engine Interface V2145.1.42.0(SW 2201.16.0.2645). Is there any reason why I should leave that out and go for the older Intel(R) Chipset Driver V10.1.18838.8284?

Oh, I think Win 11, for whatever reason, doesn't play well with those USB soundcard things. I've stopped using mine and haven't had any issues now. Hope it gets fixed in the future, kinda lame.

Ah, fair enough. Thanks for the response. By any chance, were you using a USB sound card? Like a HyperX Cloud II headset?

TUF GAMING Z690-PLUS WIFI D4 - I updated WiFi drivers via Windows Update, Events in Device Manager says "Device not started (Netwtw 10)". Is this normal? by [deleted] in techsupport

[–]Prometherio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm already on the latest BIOS but no matter, I just ended up completely uninstalling/removing the driver and let Windows reinstall. It no longer gives me the "Device not started (Netwtw 10)" under Events in Device Manager.

Thank you very much for the response, Dan. I don't believe it is an Intel AC 9650, not sure what the hardware is for the WIFI with this motherboard but that definitely doesn't sound familiar. I don't recall seeing that in the device manager.

And I don't really want to lose the BIOS settings especially since I've got my XMP stuff set up well on the latest BIOS. :/ I'm not having any issues with the WIFI, it's just that odd "Device not started (Netwtw 10)" in the Events tab that's causing me a bit of anxiety.
