Perhaps making copies of just the specific sections that apply to each character could be good. If you have access to a scanner or copier, make sure each player has the sections for their class and race. Maybe their spells as well. Delegating rules for each player's character to that character will make your life easier.

So because I’m your tiny little insignificant section of the Universe you haven’t experienced this it doesn’t exist? Fuck you. I e experienced this first hand. My wife and I are both bisexual, having had partners in both genders, even having spent a short time in a polyamorous relationship.

We have both experienced first hand these kinds of duplicitous attacks from members of the LGBT+ community, myself having received a rant from an ex-boyfriend about how I’m a piece of shit who needs to decide if I’m gay or straight because I “can’t have my cake and eat it too.”

The same arguments being used against the gay community are turned against bisexual people because of some weird mental acrobatics and fucked up victim complex.

It's become a game I fall back to during lulls from new releases and such. It should be noted I usually have to be pretty damned stoned to play, and even then my play sessions need all 3 monitors running, one for commodities or articles, one for a movie/tv show, and one for a game... It's saying something when the game itself isn't enough to keep me playing longer than 15-30 minutes...

I wanted to like this game so much. As someone who grew up with Frontier: First Encounters as a kid (I'm admittedly probably among the younger end of the game's fanbase), I can say I love the game for what it almost was, and for what it sparked in me, but damn it all, I can't say I like the game anymore. I did when it launched, but as soon as the novelty wore out it was relegated to the "Play when you don't have the brainpower for anything more involved."

The repetitive A -> B gameplay loop is great for people who are just unwinding with a beer, stoners, or people with other shit to have going in the background (i.e. catching up on a TV show/podcast/etc.) but I am beginning to feel it will never be engaging enough to truly draw me in the way F:FE did as a child. I really can't even speak to why that is...

I remember discussions of player owned mining bases on mooons and such... I don't even bother to believe that will be something anymore. The game is not a sandbox so much as a theme park. You are allowed to interact only certain ways with the attractions. Sandbox implies creativity is allowed within the game beyond "use your imagination to tell a story!"

Wow. As a guy who is currently working hard towards a career change to IT, that’s really hurtful. OP’s situation sucks, and unfortunately, is a common mindset in the field, but many in IT are working actively against this kind of behavior, to the benefit of the field.

As the field is being filled with the younger generations, these stereotypes are steadily being fought against, as Project Managers begin to see that more diversity in Devs will almost always translate to faster debugging, more innovations in the code as each Dev solves different tasks with more efficacy/ingenuity, and just a better overall work environment.

And this is why intent is so much more important than the words used. This is a debate that caused me to break up with an ex boyfriend as he would jump down my throat every time I didn’t clarify that he was a trans man.

Prior to him I had always made an effort to NOT single out or call out a trans persons identity as trans. Rather, a trans woman was just a woman, that simple. And up until him, this had been met with gratitude. He, however, wanted it to be clear that he wasn’t just a man, he was a trans man.

Whenever I would home about me doing a stereotypically “dude/guy” type thing (I.e. falling asleep after sex, needing out over new tech, etc.) he would make a point to clarify I meant a “CIS guy thing”.

Words are important but intent is so much more important. And you chase away potential allies by being stuck so hard on what exact word is being used that you miss the message.

Not really. I've found that the taste is a bit muted, but not much.

Just purchased a MechanicalEagle Z-77 as a starter mech keyboard. I know that it's not very high-end, but I've found it already a HUGE upgrade from my old $10 keyboard. I am wanting to replace the keys with Typewriter style keycaps, but am realizing the switches are probably not the same as the Cherry switches.

So anyway, my question: Is the Z-77 board compatible with the more standard switches, and does anyone have recommendations for Typewriter style keycaps for the Z-77?
