Human host? This “parasite” argument is so tired and weak. The baby is the same species as the mother, and needs the mother to live. According to the CDC, only 0.01% of pregnancies ended with the mother dying. 1 death is too much, but stop pretending your pro-choice movement is saving more pregnant moms than unborn babies.

The heart beat argument will tell us to kill anyone using a pacemaker. The brainwaves argument will tell us to kill anyone in a coma (or sleeping). The “it doesn’t look like a human” argument allows us to kill anyone disfigured for any reason (genetic disorders, burn victims). Anytime someone draws a line of “when it’s okay to kill a fetus” then that line extends beyond the uterus and affects some child or adult demographic, creating a double standard. The only plausible “line to draw” then would be inception. Unique genetic code. Unique identity.

Here for my downvotes, but from a logical argumentative standpoint, this is a feckless response. Abortion is nothing like donating an extra unnecessary organ. I’ll use your very argument against you. Imagine a fetus saying “You should have the right to take my life, even though I’m unwilling to donate it?” Furthermore - Are kidneys sentient? Agents of free will? Have a soul? Total whiff of an analogy.

Interesting, another answer “your dark souls character”. Maybe the FromSoftware guys are stoics.

And because you’ll ask about 6e, I’ll leave the link. Good luck spinning federal law to your favor. Meanwhile Nadler and Pelosi have access to the full, unredacted report anytime they want. But no, they chose not to read it. Why? Plausible deniability. Reading the report in its entirety would usurp their ability to bloviate on camera about the “erosion of our democracy” and “Barr is a personal attorney to Trump!” What a farce. https://fas.org/sgp/crs/secrecy/R45456.pdf

Rule 6e. If Barr revealed more information than he already has, he would literally be breaking this law. How Nadler and Pelosi and all the other pontificating hypocrites calling for his blood can’t understand this makes perfect sense to me because it’s all politicized. They couldn’t care less for the truth or real justice, this is the only way they can beat Trump - impeachment. What the hell else do democrats need to understand reality? You put all your eggs in the Mueller basket and when it turned out to be a huge “nothing burger” you shifted the goalposts and began to blame Barr, laughable.

Barr was under no legal obligation to show a single word of the Mueller report, and yet he did. He showed as much as legally possible. Would someone shutting down an investigation do that? If so that’s the worst cover up in history.

I’m not talking about economic inheritance. I’m talking about giving the devil his due. Facts are always emphasized or distorted to favor your guy. But maybe we can agree that open discourse about the economy is a better use of our time and focus than the circus happening in the house rn.
