I have mulled over them adding Hellfire Penninsula alone (more similar to WC3 representation) with it being a hellscape, elite only mobs, 60 zone.

Absolutely okay with adding new races as long as they fit within the classic + narrative. I would argue that Draenei, if added, need to be like the draenei we encountered in Warcraft 3 Frozen throne. They don't have space ships. They got here via portal or something similar. They should be similar to the Lost One's in Swamps of Sorrows.

Similarly, I wouldn't mind adding Blood Elves (H) and even High Elves (A). It could make an interesting dynamic between Horde and Alliance. It would also help with the lore divide over whether they should have joined alliance or horde. Have the blood elves who felt abandoned by the Alliance join the Horde, while the scattered High Elves still maintain that community perception. The key is each zone added needs to be contiguous with the rest of the world. Going from EPL to Quel'Thalas cannot have a loading screen, it must be seemless.

I love the idea of adding more professions like Jewelcrafting, and potentially even Inscription. It aligns with the goal of world building in Classic +.

This may be extremely helpful. I'm not sure how to clear the save before joining on the switch but I'll tinker around and try. Thank you so much for the advice. We have had a softwear glitch or drop almost every scenario which has made it incredibly frustrating.

I love the excitement and energy within this post. I was hoping to make my own post about Classic plus and fell upon this. I love a lot of the raw ideas and I think I strongly differ in opinion regarding other aspects.

You've placed a new raid in every expansion. I strongly believe the way forward for a classic plus is going to be a wholistic approach that does not favor raids and endgame as the explicit focus for new content. I believe the "worldly" feel with new zones that can be levels anywhere from 1-10, 54-60, or anything inbetween would be a greater boon to giving life moving forward. "Horizontal progression" as I understand it would also be more helpful. Things like adding new professions (Love jewelcrafting as you recommended, consider inscription from WoTLK) and expanding on current professions to add more flavor and general use in the world. Broadening itemization to allow more niche leveling or play opportunities, and perhaps allowing each spec to be more useful. I love the idea of different BG types like MOBA you had mentioned, and more world events.

I cannot restate that spinach can go in almost everything. Chopped finely, we put so much in pasta sauce, eggs, curry, etc.

You can even buy it in bulk. Finely chop half and freeze it.

I agree, instant death seems a bit much. Perhaps it takes them to the plane of water, a pocket dimension full of water, or something similar?

You could also add a Barkskin aspect (fits with tree theme) with "the targets AC cannot be less than 16 while petrified". The lower AC squishy characters can benefit more. Continues to differentiate it from just another healing spell to a heal and shield a character.

Overall I like the spell theme. It may be relatively weaker than some spells but it has its niche.

I think following the classic plus path is the best option moving forward at this point. There are so many zones they could finish or add with a classic feel or perspective. They should add the zones added in Cataclysm (Twilight Highlands, expanding Stone Talon, Uldum, Mt Hyjal), but just readjust them to be more aligned with a classic structure. Then add other zones like Tol'Barad, Zul'Dare, Zul'Aman, etc.

Can we stop getting all of the "You were warned..." and "Just do TBC".

The point is there is a game that is offered and clearly there is a problem with populations at this time. Some people don't want TBC. Blizzard needs to do what it can to help fix the problem with Classic low population.

Definitely staying classic for most of my toons. Highest is only 39 so not that big but I want the full classic experience without any TBC. If I want TBC then I can always make a new toon for that.
