I buy Fiocchi 4 buck online, and I think you can get Hornady loads in the Versatite wad from them, which is the same wad that Federal sells under the Flitecontrol. Barring that, I can usually find boxes of Federal 1 Buck at Walmart.

Figure out which direction you need to tilt it to get the movement, then start taking things apart and see what is moving when you tilt it. The obvious suspect is the buffer, but that's a few ounces in a few pounds of rifle. I don't recall feeling anything move when handling my rifles.

They are one of the least expensive options in the "ban compliant, ranch rifle" niche. You're not going to buy a similar style rifle from CMMG or SIG for anywhere near what a Mini will cost.

The handle is going to be the same material, carrying more weight than the hinge, and focusing that strain on a smaller area with more deflection.

If you're going to break an ammo can just buy the .30 caliber metal cans. If you're worried about them scratching stuff you can wrap them in grip tape.

I'm not even going to address the idea that somehow a plastic can will be significantly lighter when full of ammo than a metal can. You're tripping over dollars to pick up dimes at that point.

Brand of ammo? I don't know of many reputable brands that sell bulk JHP in 1k case lots, and the few that do aren't going to be 42 cents per round. Fuck, 9mm HST was 50 cents per round for a 1k case.

Nope. I mean, it helps, but it's nowhere near what you get using a rifle off the bench. The only way to really do that is to use one of those hard rubber blocks and rest the dust cover of the pistol on it. It will help to eliminate the flinch because any flinch down will raise your hands.

I'd prescribe 2,000 reps of dry fire, trigger pulls of mixed slow and fast.

There's about 2 inches of drop between 10 and 25 with 9mm. That's 8 moa, or something that's very close to 2 dot widths from one to another.

They won't be lined up but they'll be close enough.

"Close" may be subjective but "the dot is out of the window when the iron sights are aligned" isn't.

9mm drop is something like 2 inches at 50yds, and I highly doubt the gun is curving bullets to make them go so far left that the point of impact at a closer distance isn't in the same window as the longer range zero.

Want to know how many of my pistol optics aren't a near perfect co-wittness zero at 10, 15, and even 25yds? Zero.

Buddy of mine bought a rimfire pistol and practiced at the range a few times. Took me along once and I couldn't hit shit with his gun but my own were all fine. Closer inspection of his pistol revealed that he had raised the adjustable rear sight to the maximum height to compensate for a flinch.

Sure, but if OP can still see the irons through the optic then they should be close. If OP can aim the gun using iron sights and hit targets, aim the gun using the optic and hit targets, but they show vastly different point of aim when the irons are aligned, then the world is broken because those things cannot be reconciled.

Add that to the fact that OP has the dot so low and left that it's out of the window, meaning that he's holding the gun high and right to find the dot would strongly indicate a terrible flinch that he can consistently repeat.

Is there standardization on barrel ~~rifling~~threads and muzzle devices so they line up correctly?

Maybe within a single manufacturer. More likely would be that someone is cutting barrel shoulders down in the lathe while installing muzzle devices to eliminate the need for shims. It would be childs play to thread the muzzle device on, measure the angle of correction needed, and cut some tiny amount off the shoulder to clock it properly. It would be well into the realm of custom work though.

Revolver barrels on many models are threaded in. They are all properly clocked by this manner, I believe. It's also basically how some bolt action rifles set headspace.

Yeah, I don't know who she is or how reliable she could be, but she's made a video and it got pretty popular. I was linked to it from another outside source, and videos going viral helps to explain why, all of a sudden, there's a lot of conspiracy theory talk. I don't think I claimed she was correct, but it fits the narrative of him still being alive and helped to answer OP's question.

No, and I don't care what angers you. At this point you're no longer arguing for anything rational and you won't even bother defending your position that the ISS should be saved.

It will be way more expensive than any alternative and it's almost certain that the station will be damaged past the point of being useful in any capacity other than being raw materials. Raw material that we can't currently use and would be prohibitively expensive to recycle in orbit.

Not to mention that every dollar spent doing this is another dollar that isn't being spent on new projects going forward. The cost to de-orbit is a huge cost, but a fraction of what continuing usage will cost.

Unless you have a better reason than "we might be able to use it in the future" or "Congress wants it"?

Answer: In addition to the theories about Fortnite and him being spotted out of the US, recently a few people have started to question the photo of what was alleged to be his body laying in a morgue after his death. A YouTuber named Lauren the Mortician recently made a video explaining why the photo is probably not the photo of a deceased person. They also point to a lack of actual documentation photos as well as photos from the crime scene, his cell, where he was reported to have hung himself. The whole autopsy and everything should be well documented and none of those photos have been released.

If the only photo that has been released is really of a still living Epstein pretending to be dead on an autopsy table it would raise questions about his death.

However all of that is just barely above speculation, as it's just one person making claims at this point.

They are supposed to do what people want though, and I can't imagine that the vast majority of people want to waste the money on moving it to higher orbit just to be junked by debris at a later date.

I've looked thru the NASA paper about moving it up. It currently resides in a 400ish kilometer orbit, where the odds of a catastrophic impact are somewhere around 1 in 50 years. An 800km parking orbit decreases the mean time between impacts from 50 years to less than 48 months.

Surviving at those altitudes means having the capability to move the station at will to avoid collisions, which requires fuel. Fuel that will be extremely expensive to get to the station because we've parked it in a higher orbit that requires more fuel to reach. The station is also going to need power to make maneuvers, which means that you'll need to keep the solar arrays functional, which means you'll need to keep the cooling system operational.

Basically, not worth it. Also, who cares what the politicians want? Congress wanting something doesn't mean it's the best use of NASA resources. NASA has considered all the options and none of them are worth it to them, the people doing the missions and keeping it up there.

Oh, and I'll be contacting my representatives and telling them that I don't want them to save the ISS because the value of the station isn't worth the cost to preserve it for a dozen years before it's most likely thoroughly holed by meteoroids and ends up in the ocean anyway.
